KBH would never allow herself to become a token prize to convince a certain demographic to vote for McCain. Palin is just a mannequin and will be tossed aside like a used napkin when McCain wins. That's right...WHEN.

without a doubt, but she is infinitely more qualified and i actually like KBH... she probably wouldn't have changed my mind (at this point there is nothing the republicans can do to regain my confidence), but a pick like KBH would at least reaffirm to me that the right actually CARED about the direction this country is headed as opposed to simply winning elections.

    palin confirmed the EXACT opposite.

Yes. The same way Republicans would have been anti-Clinton... oh wait, but we're anti-Biden too, so then... it's all the same either way.

BTW- Obama lost it when he chose Biden.

See how easy it is to sit and play partisan QB before the results are in? ;)

I think that might have worked extremely well if Huckabee or Romney won the primary.

I'm still not sure how the heck McCain won the primary. He was left for dead after the whole immigration reform thing..

Which is ironic because it potentially would have been the most reasonable, pragmatic and positive thing he has worked on in some time.

But make no mistake, John McCain wasn't like by Repub establishment well before then, the campaign finance reform effort really ticked them off a lot more than the immigration bill effort (b/c a lot of them realized the economic benefit of an improved immigration system and wanted it to pass, even if kinda in secret about it).

KBH is a couple hundred miles from Mexico, so she has the same level of foreign policy experience, but more drug war experience!

He was the only major Republican candidate running that the general electorate couldn't deeply associate with Bush. The man's popularity rating is significantly higher than the Republican party.

How come you smart people always bring out the wacko card? I thought intelligence would take you to a level that did not need name calling to make a point. Maybe your views are considered way out there by some. I think maybe the age level is lower on this board than I thought.

So you actually think Palin is very well qualified to be president?

Which means she'd be better to possibly govern and work with Congress; but simultaneously less capable of mobilizing the base and "protecting" red state votes.

never said she was qualified. I guess the wackiness got to you where you read that into my post. I just do not think that name calling accomplishes anything, but making ou look like a kid. :D
