holy crap i laughed my ass off. this thread was funny as hell. maybe clyde was right - rafer alston IS an all-star PG candidate in the west.
dude,We definitely don't need another all-star player,we need a man(PG) make our three stars be the all-star.
I wasn't big on Rafer until last year..(he ran the offense smoothly), but I'm pulling for my homie Steve to make a comeback! but if I get any kind of read on D Morey(GM of the Year)......he is going to get another point guard along with a BIG
Doesn't look to me like PG is a priority for Morey. From his POV, I'd say backup C might be the only hole. Outside of that, it's just a matter of seeking value in his deals.
i think he already is a allstars PG... He's Yao, Tracys and now Ron's pg how many all-stars can say they have the same PG? probably only the 3 in boston.
Rafer: Hey guys...with the big acquisitions this o/s, I undoubtedly need to get back to the fitting room to make sure I'm still a 30" waist. I hope I haven't gained any weight. Do you think I look fat?
lol haha i lmfao on this thread. Btw correct the title: "Will rafer ever become an all star pg?" No is the answer.
AI went to the finals once and that was when the east was weakest. AI wouldnt even make it to the playoffs if the sixers were in the west. Did you see what happened to the butt nuggets with all that talent on their team?
Dude, we're sorry okay? Including me, even though I knew you were an international man, I couldn't help but find funny innuendos in your OP.
While I agree with you for the most part, there were all of 4 players in the NBA last year who averaged over 10 assists a game. Rafer didn't do too bad in that department, especially considering he had a playmaking forward playing next to him.
Good point. That means that we only need him to give the ball up to these guys, and NOT shoot (and miss) a lot of threes.
