Really the only thing to say is that no matter how you feel about KPJ, he's definitely not the worst passer on the team. No matter what kind of irrational bone you have to pick with him.
Victor Oladipo. I know he's not with us any more, but it's imprinted on my mind and it will take more than a year or two to fade away.
I gather that you're frustrated with his play but he's been real solid the last 5 games or so, and was solid last year too. If he was the worst passer on the team we wouldn't be trying to make him a full time PG. Do you honestly think he is a worse passer than all of House, Wood, Gordon, Nwaba, KJ, Theis etc? If so then yeah, you've got an irrational take. It seems you just plain don't like this kid or Green so it is no surprise when you try to come in blazing hot with self-aggrandizing foolishness. Where I come from, exaggeration and wild embellishment don't constitute a rational explanation
I know he's been good since Green has been out - i've actually said this on a couple of occasions. Yes, I do think he is a worse passer than them. Maybe I am being unfair on him. I just expect the PG to be a natural passer. Regardless of whether 'it's only his first year as a PG' doesn't make a difference. You do not see any other PG (actually... I've never seen any other player - regardless of position) mosey inside the 3 point line and then get stuck with a picked up dribble more than KPJ. I attribute a lot of this to him not being a good passer - which is why you never see any other PG get stuck like this. The ball is out of their hands already to a teammate before they're stuck. You see - you just picture intercepted passes or passes going out of bounds - maybe I should say you're irrational because you don't understand the entire concept but rather hone in on a single aspect of it.
Yes, you're being unfair AND irrational. KPJ is best passer on the team. Sad but true. Sengun will be best when he's not in foul trouble every game.
Can’t believe Danuel House ran away with it. Who the **** was he passing to? Yao Ming retired a decade ago.
Which stat is it that records how many times somebody beans a fan with a ball? No way in hell is Green a worse passer than Wood.
Green has a worst A/TO ratio than Wood while having a lower USG rate, lower scoring rate, and only a marginally higher assist rate.
Where exactly does a/to ratio show pass quality? Same with assist rate, Sengun throws beautiful passes all of the time that don't result in assists because our shooters are mostly ass. You're using stats to prove a point when those stats don't show even 90% of the story. Being a good passer isn't just about getting assists or not getting turnovers, it's about the quality of the pass, reading the defense. Your stats would only be valid if every single pass lead to a shot and the only way you could turn the ball over is from passing. How many passes happen in a game that lead to more passes? Lots. Nice try though.
Then why reply arguing that those stats proved Green was a worse passer than Wood? Mixed messages might not be the best way to assert superiority, makes you look disingenuous/intellectually dishonest - as does removing my name from the quote so I wouldn't get a notification.
I was showing what stats I looked at to make the claim of which player is the worst passer according to stats That would be Theis, followed by Green. If looking at A/TO, AST, USG
