Watchin the torture scenes in some of those 24 episodes.........and other than that, had a bad stomachache couple years ago..
I'll tell you what, I think it was last night when I broke my damn ankle. A good time can go bad just like that.
After the initial shock and heartbreak... Yes. But I think I might have cried the two times the Jazz knocked us out in the Barkley days.
When I woke up from (after) my hip replacement surgery. There's nothing like the feeling of your skin being sliced open, your muscles being separated (and held apart for 4 hours), your bones being sawed apart and then glued back together with metal replacement parts thrown in there.
Broke my neck back in '05. Pain in neck and left arm was horrible until the surgery 2 days later. 2nd worst pain was laser surgery to repair a small tear in my retina. You don't want to hear the doctor say "this may hurt, the hole is near your optic nerve". It hurt, very much.
I get really bad stomach pains when I drink too much. One night I had way too much to drink went home and passed out. I had a dream that I was on an operating table and there were doctors pulling out my intestines while I was still conscious. I woke up from the dream and was holding my stomach and screaming because the pain in my stomach literally felt like someone was pulling out my intestines. It finally subsided and I passed out again until the morning. I guess the point is the pain was so bad that it brought me back to consciousness from being passed out.
I once replied an ad for an Olympic position. But when I got there it was just a dude with a video camera and a knife. He told me to drop my pants. So yea, that was the worst pain ever.
as soon as i got home after acl surgery..i popped some vicodin but was literally biting down on a pillow till the meds kicked in.. also using that damn knee bending machine they give you that same night..not a good experience at all..
A few years ago when I was in highschool I got hit in the eye with a bottle rocket. Days later my retina detached from the blunt impact. That was incredibly painful, I remember just stuffing my head in between some couch cushions and screaming.
