I've had my share of cruddy jobs...Dishwashing is definitely the most disgusting, depressing, degrading one I've had. That's been years back & I'm more in the corporate world now but I'm still a little scarred from that experience. I've car washed (trucks that carried poultry! washing blood and guts residue out, uugh), painted, sandblasted, picked stuff up (trash, logs), construction, stocked, lifted...but the silver lining is, those jobs stayed in the U.S. with Americans working them and we didnt hand them over to immigrants & illegals (Well, most of them...)
Selling stuff door to door for me. In Wilmington, DE of all places...where there is nothing to do but watch the NBA playoffs..in the year of Stocktons shot......
Are you kidding me? Pizza delivery was the easiest job I've ever had and I would make $15-20/hour doing it. Then again, I delivered in Kingwood so the tips were better than average. Anyways, that was going to be my advice, quit your painting job and get a delivery job.
