I remember getting queazy after seeing on Sportscenter the morning after it happened. My mom even commented that I was noticeably upset.

I'm not going to watch any of those videos, but I remember the Shaun Livingston injury was just absolutely, absolutely sickening to watch.

if you have the stomach to watch it, check out the clint malarchuk injury source footage. they have the unedited video from the original broadcast from 3 separate angles. theres so much blood that it seriously looks like its straight out of a horror movie. its gotta be the worst sports injury ever. i read on wikipedia that the only reason malarchuk didnt bleed to death was because the buffalo trainer, who had been a medic in vietnam, actually reached inside of the wound and pinched the artery to stop the bleeding.
zedniks was nothing compared to malarchuk

Heard of a BMX injury today by a guy who I think was called Steven Murray. He broke his neck I think....and you cant find video of it on the net because his family had it removed from as many sites as they could.

I think I saw this video before they took it down and kept it off. It was some backflip trick on a bike and he landed right on his neck, you could see his body twist in a terrible way. It was definitely a scary sight.

A lot of people here are probably too young to remember, but Steve Yeager being hit with the broken bat while in the on deck circle was pretty bad.

If you consider Nascar/F-1 a sport, then there's that guy who got hit by an indy car and died.

    Pretty much stomach turning.

What about Dave Dravecky's arm snapping in half during his comeback bid after cancer? I still remember that pop.

Moises Alou's broken ankle in 1994 (I think) was nasty as well.

The Livingston video haunts me to this day. I still have to watch it several times it comes up though, peeking out between my fingers each time.

This just happened today and may be the worst I have ever seen. I'm not sure how to post YouTube videos, but here is the link. Definitely not for the sqeemish.

Last night at 1am I twisted my ankle during a coed game of drunken frisbie.

I'll be in IR for the remainder of the day.

Ugh, I knew Eduardo's injury would show up. Even though I'm an Arsenal fan, I would be completely disgusted if any player on any team suffered such an injury :(

Wenger was pissed after the game and rightly so. No way Taylor didn't know what he was doing. I don't think he meant to do that kind of damage, but he clearly was trying to hurt Eduardo. Taylor should be suspended for no less than the rest of the season and any competition Birmingham is involved in.
