There have been plenty brutal days but this honestly may be the worst. If Harden had scored say, 36 points it would have been fine. But to be that close to 6 straight 40 point games and miss an easy layup for 40 is pretty rough. And losing a favored home game in Deshaun's playoff debut to our division rival (who have historically owned us) is brutal.
Wow. So many rebuttals to this being worst day. Houston Sports sucks for sure. Ima still fly the flag though.
Lol, yeah not even close. The Texans were obviously fools gold to anybody that pays attention and the Rockets lost a regular season game they should have lost, which isn't a big deal...at all. Nothing meaningful happened. 90% of our cities playoff elimations hurt more than this clearly foreseeable outcome
Harden definitely blew several opportunities for 40 (including much earlier in the game)... he missed a lot of shots today that he normally makes in his damn sleep. I was irrationally upset by that streak coming to an end, almost more than the loss, heh.
Phi Slama Jama loss.. Moses getting traded... Bum getting fired.... Earl getting traded... Hakeem being traded... Rudy retiring... Biggest comeback in NFL history... AFC title game losses... Clemons' 'stros going down... ...and those r just a few off the top of my head....
Not even close. The Rockets going this far in a rough schedule with only two losses that are essentially schedule losses is quite frankly outstanding, and I’m happy to see that they fought to the very bitter end. The Texans continue to be the Texans so I wasn’t surprised. I can name at least ten days worse than this Houston sports day. Sucks, but we move on.
WTF how is today Houston's worst day in sports history..?? because Harden didn't get 40 points or because Texans lost...!! did anyone expect the Texans to win like seriously, we have arguable one of the dumbest coaches with the most conservative play calling in the NFL and you guys expected them to win, the Texans won't do **** until we get rid of that dumbass
It’s a great day in Houston when the worst thing about the rockets is that harden didn’t get to score 40 points lol
Let's keep things in perspective. http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/thr...heat-houston-astros-pitcher-stroke-strikeouts
Haha. Not even remotely close to the worst day. I feel no sadness today. I'm still excited about the Rockets. I expected the Texans to lose. I guess the OP is very young. Some of those Oilers, Astros, Rockets playoff losses ripped my heart out.
