These are players that we ALL had high expectation for and they ripped our arses open with shame.

    Guys like
Kelvin Cato....yes we over paid him, but he wasn't THAT terrible, his huge contract made it a lot worse than it was. He actually had a good year in Van Gundy's first year.

Mo Taylor....same thing. The contract made it worse, but he was a serviceable forward.

Brent Price......good guard, overpaid, injured all the damn time.

    Moochie was kinda bad...lol

Steve Francis should not be on ANYone's list. His numbers don't lie. Steve had heart and played his ass off while in Rocket red. He didn't always play smart, but passion he did have.

    My five worst:

    1) (unquestionably) Scottie Pippen
    2) Roderick Rhodes
    3) Charles Jones
    4) Brent Price
    5) Sam Mack

My honorable mention pick goes to Mirsaad Turkan -- because even though he never put on a Rockets jersey he was one of our 3 first round picks that didn't let us draft Rashard Lewis and then he never even played.

    What a waste.

yea he and Joe Dumars were rated about the same coming out of college, it was considered a coin flip on who was better, and Detroit had the pick before us and they took Joe and we ended up with Steve.

Yea that's a what could have been moment.

No that's a year when Tracy McGrady was coming back and Yao fell down with broken leg.

Then JHoward and Dikembe Mutombo and Rockets squad lead by TMac have gone on a 20-12 when Yao was apsent.

When Yao came back, playoffs vs Jazz.

2-0 and then 4-3, rest is history.

    That year, that year.

JHoward isn't a great player but good enough to keep him out of this list.

you put BARLKEY on a list with Stromile Swift

Hey, quick question to you since you are a rookie
Oh I guess being 1 shot and 1 game away from the NBA Finals
is WORSE than the Stromile Swift era..

    hahaha

you TNT Barkley haters are funny

    Ryan Bowen (hands down)
    Oscar Torres
    Rhodes
    V-Span
    Stro Swift

did Vin Baker ever play for the Rockets? I think someone else had him on their list. If so, it's news to me, and that underachieving drunk might bump Stro off the list.

That would be a career-ending injury for McGrady.
