I'm pretty sure Recasner was a call-up, but he actually got a contract with the Hornets after he played for the Rockets if I remember right. As for Davis and Livingston. We didn't call up Livingston, we drafted his ass didn't we? I still remember Rick Pitino on the night of the draft saying Livingston would've been so much better if it wasn't for his knees... Also I remember during training camp how everyone, including Clyde Drexler (take that for what it's worth) were oohing and ahhing over our "3 great new young rookie PGs." We all know how that went.
As far as candidates are concerned, how about any one of those players who played for the 1982-83 Rockets, the team that compiled its worst record (14-68) in franchise history? I would like it very much if I could go back even further than that season to single out players that were the worst to ever play for the Rockets.
Well, I can just remember that he was one of the guards the Rockets tried to replace either Lewis Lloyd or Mitchell Wiggins during the 1986-87 season, and beyond, after those two were suspended for drugs. Dirk Minnifield was the other guard that I remember the Rockets tried to use as well that season as well as Alan Leavell. Then Derrick Chevious, Mike Woodson, and Eric "Sleepy" Floyd were also guards the Rockets tried to use as well to replace Lewis Lloyd and Mitchell Wiggins.
The people i really couln't stand 1 Pippen 2 Maloney and the ones i just didn't care for 3 Vin Baker 4 Cato 5 Moochie
If you're speaking of the worst players... Chuck Nevitt Serge Zwikker Dirk Minnefield Eric Riley Alton Ford Thomas Hamilton Alvin Heggs Tito Maddox Richard Petruska Rodrick Rhodes John Stroud Zan Tabak That squad couldn't beat an average jr high team.
1. Scottie Pippen 2. Thomas Hamilton 3. V Span 4. Shannon Anderson 5. Stromile Swift 5. Eddie Griffin I encluded off court/locker room antics in my selection process. That's why EG is tied with SS at #5.
part of me thinks that the people putting charles on here is for his TNT stint. its still hard to believe there are so many people here who missed out on the 80s and 90s basketball. and charles could out-rebound yao, chuck hayes, scola, and landry by himself. he did record 33 rebounds vs the Suns as a ROCKET.
