That's how quickly you COULD turn stuff around. Back then rookies were 21/22 years old. They were a lot more mature. It typically takes more time than that now.

I rather be bottom 3 than spinning wheels in mud right outside the playoffs season after season.

And above all, Ego's hot shooting, Gary Bird and Tate going off, actually contributed to 7 wins out of 20........

For me, the last 2 years of the Harden era were the worst. No where to go but down after WB got here. No hope.

Now there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Agree. I don’t blame Harden for leave. We were kinda old and drained both financially & with assets

I actually feel invested in the rockets for the first time since Harden got to Houston. Instead now I don’t just have harden but get to watch KPJ/Green/Sengun & this years pick try to grow into something

I don’t really see a tunnel. I think our rebuild will be seen as impressive. I bet Stone wins exec of the year within a few years if he gets a new head coach

For sure, the Rockets have always been the 3rd most popular team in Houston. We got a lot of people on here saying this past season was great and better than years we made the playoffs. I don't believe these people are anything more than internet fans, they don't rep the city or go to games.

This year is definitely not one of the worst - when you look at players like Sengun, Green, and KPJ - you can't help but feel hopeful about the future.

That was not the case when we picked up Russell Brickhouse and definitely not the case after Yao and T-mac were done and our best player was Kevin Martin.

Easily one of the worst, maybe you don't have the money to go to games or aren't from Houston. I would pay a lot of money to watch the Rockets on the road in Portland, think I went to watch that G-league game this year? Horrible season.

I have no idea how you derive that kind of assessment. I don't live in Houston so only catch Rockets game when they visit the east coast and on occasion when I travel to work to the west coast and the Rockets happen to be in town. So I get to seem them once or twice a year. But I will admit I skipped the year with Kevin Martin as the best player. I did go the game this year and enjoyed it even though they lost.
