It seems like a long shot but the rockets can overtake the Lakers, Phoenix or Sacramento. Rockets own the tiebreaker against these 3 teams. Phoenix remaining schedule all against 0.500 teams. Sacramento have 6 games against 0.500 teams Lakers only 4 games against 0.500 teams. Rockets have a tough schedule but have to end the season with 45-37 for them to make it to the playin in my estimation. Golden State is not the only viable option to overtake.
If that ends up being true it's kinda nuts in a conference where 10 out of 15 teams get in. Gotta have a 55% winning percentage. In the East, Atlanta is getting in with a 46% winning percentage. East and West are so imbalanced. Expansion can't come soon enough. Get Seattle & Vegas their teams and move Minny to the East.
