Rockets broadcaster Bill Worrell said this in pregame:

"Of course, the Rockets may have had some interest in Marcus Camby, but the Clippers wanted Kyle Lowry and possibly Trevor Ariza to make that deal work. The Rockets weren't willing to give up what they think will be a big part of their team next year, and that's why I think they may stand pat too because whoever you pick up Clyde has got to figure to play next year."

The Clippers are nuts for us to go after an aging center.

    Donald Sterling is a douchebag.

    Thanks, Clutch.

My God. Lowry AND Ariza for Camby. Goodness, Dunleavy must be sitting in a haze of blue smoke. And then they trade him for Blake and Outlaw.

Would've been good in my opinion for Ariza, but Lowry would be a big maybe. Regardless I don't think the Rockets lost on giving up that trade proposal

Morey should ask for Blake Griffin, if Clips ever want Battier.

Clips GM must be nuts if he ever thinks that this deal goes down.

so are the rockets asking Bull and Worrell to temper expectations on the trade front?

everything we hear externally is that the rockets will make a move. However, bill and bull have now both been on the record indicating that they don't think one will be made.

    interesting

I suppose it was more of an offer to give us more cap relief to sign a "big name player" in the summer.

    Ariza, hmmm

    Lowry, wow.

    I dunno.

I'd have done it for just Ariza and filler...not Lowry.

DD is gonna go nuts! I probably would've done it although losing Lowry would hurt.

LOL! I remember when we did the Lowry trade.. Most had no idea what Morey was doing.. Now the Lil' Bowlin Ball is arguably our most important player..

Lowry,no way. Ariza maybe,in order to move his contract, though I'm willing to give him a chance.
