I think Bill might actually be slipping into senility, and clyde is...well yea we all know how that is. Bullard sadly is the best. My opinion is they are all quite terrible but usually just make me laugh with how inept they are. Bull usually knows what he is talking about but when he goes from sounding like the local announcer who used to play, to the dad at the little league game it just gets annoying.

I vote we bring back Calvin and pair him with the guy who helps clutch, you know who im talkin about, the chubby dude who needs a bigger sweatsuit...i feel like he would have some amazing insight.

NO CHANCE of Calvin Murphy coming back... he's always calling out Les Alexander on his radio show almost everyday! Claims that Les doesn't like him and that his whole family issues were used against him to kick him out of the Rockets organization.

I can settle for bullard... but Clyde makes no sense most the times... like when someones shot hits the rim a few times and falls in, Clyde analyzes the replay, "Ariza's shot is almost unstoppable when he is on fire... this shot here... NOTHING BUT NET!"

I mean REALLY!!?? cuz I swear I just seen it hit the rim a COUPLE times!! LOL

They are homers and they are supposed to be but atleast they give the other team credit for great plays.

And Bill Worrell was a class act when I met him last January, great guy.

I don't think they are being homers at all....when Bull complains about the flopping...he complains it for both teams, he hates it when Scola does it too...i think Bull is great, better than Clyde at least....

I don't know, I like Bill best, than Clyde, than Bull. Clyde also complains about calls sometimes but it's not as whiny as Bull, that can be really annoying. And when we were in Toronto a few days ago and Bull went on the whole time with those remarkably stupid Canada jokes-- I mean it was funny the first 5 or 6 times, annoying the next 10 or 11, and by the end of the game I literally wanted to punch him in the face.

That said, thank god for our commentators. I listened to Dallas commentary for that game- wow, our guys are like night and day to those guys...

I am OK with a moderate amount of homerism, and a moderate amount of b****ing about calls. There are far homerish and far b****ier announcers out there.

What got on my nerves about Bill and Bull was the constant hockey and Canadian jokes in the Toronto game while the Rockets were losing.

I have never understood why people complain about our commentators being homers and how it "takes away from the experience." DO WHAT?!?!? IMO they are supposed to be homers. I personally would hate it if Bill and Bull werent the way they are. If you dont like it...you could always listen to Craig Ackerman on the radio....oh wait....if you thought Bill and Bull were homers, you best not listen to Craig.

I enjoy hearing Bill & Bull. I don't like hearing Bill & Clyde.

At some point, the opposing team is going to make a shot and Bull is going to be like "What are you doing ref?! That ball didn't go in the basket! The net flopped! Are you kidding me?!"I suppose some people would regard even that as good quality commentating...

bullard complains after every play. love the guy but the complaining needs to stop. i have nba league pass, and i was just thinking the other day that other people with nba league pass who listen to bullard must associate the rockets with just complaining about not getting any calls..or bad calls against us. the complaining needs to stop seriously or we'll just just be associated with being cry babies who want every call..the only time he actually makes the game enjoyable for me is when he talks about how the flopping needs to be stopped..i think it was scola who flopped about a week ago and bill said something like wheres the charge call, and matt said no bill that was a flop.

Yes, because someone who disagrees with you goes all the way to the complete nonsensical end of the spectrum regarding our homer announcers. What part of Bull doesnt like flopping(on either team) don't you understand? If you get this down, the rest does not matter. Take off your homerism colored glasses that filter Bull's criticism's of Scola's flopping and lauding the refs for not falling for it.

I wish Bill Worrell was my daddy. Bullard makes some off the wall comments occasionally which are hilarious. But I can't be with you on this because I have heard a few other teams local commentators complain far more than daddy Bill and Matt

LMAO!! no kidding, everything he says is either word for word repeat of Bill or a restructured version of what Bill just said!! But hes great at calling, "nothing but net!" ALL THE TIME!

yea I know I already ranted bout this.. but thats one of the most annoying things he says

I love Bill Worrell, but tonight he said something that blew me away. When McGrady entered the game he said something along the lines of "Of course McGrady came to Houston as a free agent from Orlando."

No. He didn't. He came in a trade in which we sent them Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato. C'mon, Bill. You know better than that.
