    This would have been the perfect ending. Posey slightly illegally blocking the plate, the guy thrown out and not overturning the call (especially since Posey's injury was the driving force for the rule change). It would have been a fitting controversial ending to Selig's reign.

    2 outs. Bottom of the 9th inning in game 7 of the World Series against a pitcher that has been on a level somewhere far north of dominating. Down a run. If they weren't going to send Gordon, they should've put someone in that could have at least threatened to steal home. I think if Ned Yost could go back and do it again, he would've taken a bigger risk to tie the game up. Get to the 10th and Bumgarner is likely pulled.

    Oh, what I would give to have Jeff Bagwell in that situation.

    Yea...I was thinking they got to send him around third. If the throw is off, then he's safe. If it's on target, then he's out. That would have been a great ending or continuation of the game.
