What doomed TB is the same thing that doomed us. Lack of offense in clutch time. While bats go cold all the time, its tough when the stakes are so high. A one game drought can kill your year. It happens. Will keep happening.

At least TB showed some fight (at times).

    On to 2021.

I thought so too. But with the TB offense totally dead, probably wouldn't have changed the outcome if Snell had stayed another inning.

The Dodgers AND Lakers winning a championship during COVID-19 is proof that Revelations has begun.

Eventually that strategy of always listening to the analytics no matter what was going to cost them dearly, and it did. It cost them vs. the Stros too, but they still won the series. They had no room for error there.

It seemed likely their luck would eventually run out. The breaks they got against the Astros, Yankees, and hell even the Jays were just ridiculous. They are obviously a solid team, but no surprise here. Picked the Dodgers in 6, they probably should have won in 5.

Dodgers winning was like my worst nightmare, so I guess my strategy will be to discredit the validity of this WS, or just pretend that the entire state of California finally had an earthquake that made the entire state fall off into the ocean.

Worse by us for sure. Pulling Snell was bad, but we did it worse no doubt.

Didn't see the post game stuff, but apparently the Dodgers basically straight up said they didn't have a chance against Snell and were celebrating that he got pulled.

It gave them life. The rest is history...

    So ****ing Stupid.

Dodger fans are saying JT needs to leave. Inexcusable actions

I don't understand the Turner backlash. Apparently the Dodgers insisted he be out there? If so who cares, they made decisions as adults. The season is over anyway.

I disagree. Pulling snell completely changed things and gave the Dodgers life that they didn’t have. All admitting they were thankful snell was pulled. No dodger was even close to hitting on snell, especially at that point of the lineup. The top of the order were all 0-3. Their eyes immediately became wide open. The offense logic is just a Poor attempt at justification of the idiotic move

Fox cameras showed that Turner returned to the field to join the team picture in front of the championship trophy. Turner sat next to manager Dave Roberts, a Hodgkin's lymphoma survivor, and removed his mask, even hugging some teammates. Yeah, that's some nice "distancing".

His team wanted him out there. They are allowed to make adult decisions about their health and safety.

If you don't understand what a WS means to players, managers, and coaches, then idk what to tell you.

Taking off the mask wasn't required for him to be part of the moment. Taking off the mask also is more about compromising other peoples health and safety, which is a decision no one should be able to make for someone else.

LA City of Champions. Just like 1988 they're both champions in 2020. Incredible feat by these incredible franchises

Are they going to isolate themselves and their families from everyone else, to ensure no one can catch a bug they exposed themselves to, for celebration sake?
