i see people claiming this a lot on the wow forums, it doesnt change my opinion of the general wow player, nor does it change my opinion that this game will ruin your life
WoW is a lot like work. You go up to a guy and he gives you something to do. You do what he says and report back at which point the guy says what a good job you did, gives you some money and then gives you another job to do. You repeat this over and over (and over and over). Am I lying? Having said this, I enjoy playing the game. It's mindless entertainment, like TV, but unlike TV, there is at least a little planning and strategy that go along with it. Plus I keep in touch with friends in Austin via the game. Fun times.
lv 13 paladin At first, I thought it was boring.. then u play WoW for more than 2 hours and your life is pretty much screwed.

lol my friends hooked.. i tried playing the 10 day trial got to like lvl 23 or something... it costs too much and i have a life to worry about so i didnt bother playing ever again
I generally agree that if you think it costs too much then you shouldn't play. You either don't have a job or your job pays too little, so your extra time would be better served educating yourself for a better job. $17/month is a single trip to the movies. I get way more enjoyment out of Warcraft than that.
