Anyone-Dynamo fans catch the Arg-Bolivia match?

Forgive me if I'm a little po'd watching Joaquin Botero net a hattrick against Argentina and continue on a tear leading his team in the Mexican 2nd division on the road to promotion while the Dynamo decide to tough it out and pass up on him and the salary he was requesting(Which I might add is quite a bit less than they are paying to Akinbiyi) and then sign up the majestic goal scorer(for club and for country)Ade Akinbiyi.

    effin ridiculous.

I thought it was a mistake. But after the 4th time seeing the final score: Bolivia 6 - Argentina 1, I was thinking Holy ----!!!!  Bolivia!!! I know it's over 10,000 feet but come on. You were playnig Bolivia!!!!

The USA winning comfortably was satisfying, but seeing the Tri's lose AND lose badly. Priceless :D :p  :) :p

Thank you for the correction Herr Swoly. But please remember that an exclamation mark is used after an interjection, not a period. Geez! :D  :p ;) :)

I've been saying it for over a year now. Altidore makes things happen when he's on the field. I'm glad we won and won fairly big.

Makes it that much better to see Mexico get stomped and sitting in lowly 4th place. Currently, they'd have to beat Uruguay to qualify for 2010. I don't think they can do it.

    ahole, Kam, sir. :p
We've been noticing that Eddie Johnson wasn't the one to be there. I remember I've said that, too.

The Difference in this game in comparison to against El Salvador was that you dudes went and demanded the ball and kept it from T&T. Your team thought that they would play the same game as it works against Mexico, but ELS wouldn't have it. In the T&T game, although two of the goals came as counter-attacks, y'all owned the entire game and Donovan's quick strikes won it.
Um, I agree. We wouldn't make it. :( Look at what Bolivia did to Argentina and how much Brazil is struggling. It's a shift in powers down there, also.

I think EVERYONE, and I do mean EVERYONE, figured out Mexico's style, and now are using the U.S.'s formula. Hold the ball, wait for a strike, and pass across for a confused-defense's disaster of scrambling to find the ultimate guy who will eventually score. Loose balls also confuse Mexico's defenders. Ugh.

I am  about Costly's first goal... :D took the ball with his hand... and then he admitted it... but, overall, I think they're just giving Eriksson too much time to mess around with players' natural position and placing them where they don't belong. Vuoso and Bravo worked well together against Costa Rica, but then he switched to have Vela and Bravo together, with Bravo on the other side because Vela just had to have his start. Another problem there is just the lack of a quick-hitting striker like we had with Fonseca way back or a header-finding forward like Borgetti or Hermosillo in his prime. Eriksson has made a mess of Mexican football. He's gotta go. Many have speculated the meeting of the MFF's owners sooner than expected at the end of April, and there are rumors of bringing in Javier 'Vasco' Aguirre (latest coaching was Osasuna and Atlético Madrid of Spain) or 'Chapo' De La Torre. I have NEVER agreed with having foreigners coach national teams. It saddens me, actually.

Congrats sitting up on top looking down on the lowly teams, U.S.A. You all deserved this win.

Well, in the end, I believe Mexico will finish 3rd and grab the last automatic spot. Honduras and El Salvador will fight it out for 4th and the right to play the 5th place COMNEBOL team. Trinidad will be lucky to get another point. The US and Costa Rica are currently the class of CONCACAF.

    That's gotta hurt, Swoly.

Outside of injury or suspension there is no reason Altidore shouldn't be starting every game the the US. He's by far the most complete striker we have to offer.

I kind of liked the Donovan/Beasley paring on the left, Donovan really should be in the midfield where he can have the ball at his feet and with the formation that Bradley likes to play left mid is a good fit for him. Beasley isn't the best defender but having him making overlapping runs down the flank adds a lot to the offense.

I am hoping MEX, USA, ELS from CONCACAF, and HON going to the playoff and beating BOL because I don't think Costa Rica has what it takes to win at Cuzcatlán, where USA was able to salvage what was once lost. I don't think Costa Rica has any class and I believe USA will struggle in HON and CRC.

It's not pain only, it's confusion, depression, anger, and hope, sir.

    See you dudes in JUNE.

I totally agree about Donovan. In the ELS game, he was staying too deep and not coming back to get the ball early. Once he started doing it towards the en of the game, things opened up. Defenders were choose between staying back and allowing him to get the ball and run at them (which he did and set Ching up for a point blank shot that he choked), or follow him and open up the passing lanes that were closed for much of that game. He's a much better player for us when he comes to get the ball from the back and has the space to run at the opposing defense.

Mexico is just like the Jazz b/c they have to cheat to try and beat an opposing team, the can't/won't fight like men. They cheat, bottom line, just like the Jazz.
