You follow professional soccer, you know that they are on the Fifa break right now. It would not be very easy to reschedule it. Let's just see what happens, I am hoping for a grand match tomorrow. DD
LOL @ MLS not giving a f$&^#* about your "Fifa break." Now are y'all gonna say Mexico planned the earthquake this morning to gain an advantage?
http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/news/newsid=2047675/index.html?cid=twitter_fifacom Costa Rica's complaints weren't considered because they didn't follow the regulations for filing a protest, mainly that you can't wait until after you lose the game to complain about it.
Yeppers. "Blown away", as CNN puts it: http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/26/sport...ica-mexico-football/index.html?iref=allsearch PLAY BALL! I'll call a 3-1 in favor of MEXICO. See y'all tonight. May the best team win!
I really don't care if the US is the better side or not, I just want to get out with a good result (i.e. point(s)) tonight  Hoping we see more of Bradley coming forward tonight since Jones won't be playing.
Getting a point in Mexico would be absolutely enormous. That would have likely our 2 most difficult road games done (no, I'm not saying there is anything easy about what they'll face in Panama, Jamaica, or Costa Rica...just saying Honduras and Mexico are better right now). I would bet that Edu starts. I think that will free Bradley to move forward more should they go with the same lineup they used on Friday (and I believe they should...including [gasp] Beasley). However, Edu does well moving forward, too.
damn US is about to get that ass whooped, tonight. I love soccer, but it doesn't feel right not watching the US dominate a sport.
In case anyone is wondering, New Zealand (predictably) won the Oceania region and awaits the 4th place team from CONCACAF.
Hope USA can get a result here, but I'm not too optimistic. An early goal will be absolutely crucial and if they can get that, I'd like their chances. Gonna go with draw. 0-0/1-1...
Youngster... I swear to G... in this day and age of the interwebs and information technology... You still have to ask these things? Unimás Ch. 67 or Deportes Univision on cable in Spanish is better.
Ok since your argument is that Mexico would have an advantage if USA had to replay the game vs Costa Rica over the weekend, (I haven't read it all I'm assuming that's the argument) what about postponing the CR game until next month? The next game for both USA and CR isn't until June, so if the game were to have been postponed next month all the teams would still have time to rest, and Mexico wouldnt have been given an advantage due to USA fatigue. Personally I don't like that they played in the snow and all, but I don't really care that much. USA would have most likely still beaten them on a regular field.
Never mind just read your comment about how it'd be hard to reschedule. Oh well, that game is done. Now it's Mexico vs USA time.
I'll take the US in this one too much pressure on the Mexicans and the USA broke through the Azteca barrier already with the win in the last game they played there
This is a Mexican home game. Espn has coverage of all Mexican home games. Wonder how this **** works. Beats being on bein.
Every game in Mexico or the United States is a Mexican home game. (Except WCQ's in Columbus now). ESPN also knows where the money resides and so do the Mexican Federation and SUM. Money talks. Same reason every major stadium in the United States wants to have the Mexican team play in their stadium each year. $$$$.
Klinsmann has decided to tinker with the defense. I'm not the greatest Clarence Goodson fan but I'm not sure at all about replacing Goodson with Besler for this game at the Azteca. Especially after the fairly solid performance by Goodson in Denver last Friday.
