hmm. the thing is.....music is real and extremely accessible. When Manny makes a music thread, he usually contributes well to it. I dont always agree with Manny's opinions and appreciation for certain musicians, but he knows his musics well and offers a chance to learn something new and interesting.

toycen post links about conspiracy theories and ufo's. not even good or interesting ones. he posts the dumbest sht he can find from the least credible websites. and he has even posted offensive garbage suggesting that 9/11 victims were nothing more than gadabbers(sp?). toycen offers a chance to become dumber and turn an attention trick.

I know enough about it that it is not my cup of tea. But I also know enough about it that you have guys like basso who will stop at nothing to get people upset. So by that definition he is definitely trolling. With the thread starter, I really can't tell if he is serious or not.

I could be wrong but someone who is constantly posting things to get a reaction whether it is inflammatory like basso or just off the wall batschit crazy like this ToyCen guy is trolling. That's just my opinion on it.

He could really believe this and be like this in real life. After all we have someone on this board that has said that they are the same in real life as they are on the BBS. And this person can create a stir with their posts. But I would like to think that FFB is an anomaly and is the exception to the rule.

But who knows - nothing surprises me anymore.

Do YOU really want to go there? If you go to the front page of the BBS and read the description of the Hangout, do you see anything about the Hangout being the place to talk about UFfreakingO's??!! Music is mentioned by name. My hobby is music, his is UFOs. So, I guess we have something in common that we both have a hobby. But until I start posting "conspiracy" theories on how all heavy metal music has satanic messages telling pubscent boys to kill themselves and "get the gun, get the gun" and that you can only hear this when you play it backwards, don't EVEN try to compare me with this whacko nutjob that started this thread.

And also, the music threads I do here are ones that I try to learn stuff from but at the same time, hope that other people will learn things from. What are we going to learn from these threads that "ToyCen428" post?? That he doesn't understand how to read a basic news article?? I mean I feel dumber just from participating in another one of his threads. Yea, I can put him on ignore and stuff but I keep hoping that progress will be made and his posts will be ones that can be lauded and not laughed about.

So apples and oranges here as your comparison has no merit.

You clearly are having a bad day. Who cares if this guy misinterpreted an article about UFO's and actually believes in them. Everyones different and there is no excuse for going as far as talking down on his personal life. Show your fellow Clutchfan some respect by not commenting on his threads if you don't have anything good to say. I hope your day gets better but your not helping anybody (including yourself) by ruining someone else's day.
