I've been recommending this diet, but it seems there's a lack of resolve or budget for it. Works great and is balanced to the point where you feel like you want to work out more despite not needing to (30 mins every other day) to shed lbs.
Banana do taste amazing. Other fruits not so much. But I agree, I need to cut out all of the refined sugars.
Just finished Block 1 of P90X3. While I liked it, felt like there was not as much strength training as the original. I also threw in 9 miles on the treadmill, spread out over three days, while completing Block 1.
dear diary, I guess I just needed a three week break. Now Im back at it again. I'm doing 8-11 sets to failure drop sets, sounds like overtraining but its giving me stretch marks overnight. Pump and keep growing. This 3x10 is B.S, only works if you're juicing. Inflammation city. You're brain will stop working on that diet. Muscles may look good from the protein but your brain needs fat to function, but if you cover that broccoli with grass fed butter, now you're talking!
LOL I was kidding dude id go insane if that was all I ate, still need them fats and carbs to stay healthy
Anyone have experience with dry carb-loading (high carbohydrate refeeds without drinking a lot of water) as talked about by Lyle McDonald (http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/of-whooshes-and-squishy-fat.html)? Down to the last 2-3 lbs of fat to drop so I figured I'd try this method. As someone that drinks a LOT of water every day, limiting water while carbing up is downright torturous. Someone who has done this please share your thoughts, as I'm not about this thirsty life if the results aren't there.

Not exactly a workout question but at the same time a workout related question. So I have been experiencing hair loss and hair thinning of late. I know part of it has to do with increased T levels getting converted to DHT which is not good for the hair follicles but I am wondering if any of the supplements I take are exacerbating this situation. I take the following supplements: Whey Protein Multi vitamin Fish Oil Pre workout ACG3 which contains creatine, alanine, arginine, tyrosine. My main concern is with the pre workout. It really gives me a good pump and energy to workout. Anyone experience something similar with creatine?
Thank you sir and yes I have been doing some online research and as a matter of fact just ordered nizoral 2% two days back. You cannot get the 2% without prescription at the usual pharmacies in the US. Glad to know that you have experience that it works. Would you know about creatine and whether it is causing this pattern?
Creatine doesn't cause it at all. If you're working out hard, eating right, etc.. then your testosterone will boost and that extra test gets converted to DHT which enters the scalp and causes the hair loss. The Nizoral 2% will neutralize the DHT. I have experience and it's really the only thing that will help. Here is a thread where some dumb juice heads talk about it but they got results: http://www.superiormuscle.com/forums/self-care/60938-bought-nizorol-shampoo
Thanks again, I plan to use the Nizoral 2% about twice a week. Should I use that together with Rogaine extra strength? Any other tips?
