Say no to this guy... He cant even hardly palm the ball at 6-8.. jesus Thats me except I"m only 5"11 .. A powerforward with no grip... He's going to get stripped so easily down in the post if he ever joined the NBA.
On real GM yesterday, it showed we have our first and second pick at 24 and 54 respectively and we owe Milwaukee or 2nds in 2006 and 2007 for James. Can anyone else confirm this?
The small hands comment on Jawad Williams concerns me. The strength issue isn't a concern for either player if you ask me. That's what Anthony Falsone gets paid for.
Every year, the Rockets (and every team, I assume) work out a ton of people, especially second rounders. Just in case. From what I've seen, they start off with the second rounders and do the first rounders closer to the draft. And, they work out their second rounders in groups by position. So, just because they're working out a bunch of second round small forwards doesn't mean they're looking to draft a small forward in the second round. They are just doing their homework keeping all their bases covered. A week from now, they'll be doing centers or something.
I'm sure they're thinking about dropping from 24 to high in the second round because the contract situation is so much better.
Hakeem couldn't palm the ball (or at least not well) at his height, 6'11", from what I recall. And no, I'm not saying this guy is the next Hakeem...

I keep reading how everyone wishes we had our Second in 2005. Acording to realGM, we don't have our pick in 2005, we have NY's pick in 2006, and we don't have a 2007 2nd rounder. Is this wrong? They are saying we traded 2006 and 2007 picks, but, not 2005
2005 was sent to NY for the rights to sign JVG. He was still under contract with the Knicks, and the pick was compensation.
The Knicks only show being owed a top 21 protected 1st rounder from Phoenix in 2005 (via San Antonio for Malik Rose) and a 2006 1st rounder from San Antonio for Malik Rose. They still show us as picking 54th.
