    This was a mantra started by Hakeem in 1995, "Humble but hungry"

    MacGrady just paraphrased it.

    Dream attributed it to his reaffirmation of his Muslim faith during the mid 90's
    and the whole team adopted the quote and the attitude during the 1995 playoffs

    Riiiiight - He probably made the NBA and averaged 30-6 in the playoffs for the Rockets without any hard work.

    Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, etc... were/are more, "Work Hard, Whip Your Big **** Out"

    Arrogant assholes win alot, moreso than "nice guys" I would say. Humble not any part of their vocabulary.
