"Mute" instead of "moot." Drives me nuts.

    "Whenever"

I can't stand it when people use it to refer to a specific event. Example: "Whenever I was in junior high, I fell off my bike and scraped my knee." The word you mean is "when", not "whenever." "Whenever" refers to multiple, repeated instances of an occurrence. For some reason, this drives me crazy.

If you live in Austin and listen to 96.7 in the morning, you'll hear Bobby Bones say this on the air all the time.

    Normalcy

Coined by Warren G Harding for his presidential campaign, but not really a word, although some have argued that it is one.

I'm going to say no. Normality should be used.

"Could" is the key word, but not for the reason you're stating. If you "could" care less, then you aren't expressing your maximum apathy like you would. :D It should be "couldn't care less".

Yes, but it's a contractions so you should write "let's" instead of "lets". "Lets" means something else.

    Let's go see a movie.

    vs.

She lets him get away with everything.

    unique,

ie. Yao's shooting touch is so unique for a man his size, only a handful of big men have been able to stroke it as well as Yao.
