I hope the only reason McGrady is playing tonight isn't because Artest is out.

If McGrady is hurting he should just rest, even if it means the Rockets lose a few.

He looked like he was limping and the game hasn't even started yet.

That's what I like to hear from T-Mac.

It seems like he's motivated again, this should be good.

He's gonna dominate this **** and earn his All-Star starting spot back.

the guy is playing on bum knees, with a bad shoulder and moving/jumping around about as well as mutombo and still gets 20/6/6 in his sleep, and people call him trash? wtf?!

I just do not understand what people here want from the guy. rockets fans should be thanking their lucky stars that they have a basketball diety on their team, instead of b****ing about every little thing. you guys are a bunch of ungrateful brats. coming from a true sports town like chicago, it is no wonder no one gives houston sports any respect, it might have something to do with you, the fans, being some of the worst and whiniest in the nation.

by the way, I was always a rockets fan since i was born in Houston and my dad was born and raised a houstonian so he rooted for the Rox and I followed suit. but having lived in other major sports cities I thought I will let some of you guys know how much you suck in comparison.

iam sorry if I offend any of you, but I had to say it.

For all the haters out there. McGrady, Tracy- 11 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists...so far. Can you say "triple-double coming up?" ;)

he's moving MUCH better. not great yet, but much better than 2 weeks ago.

how do we know he's improved health-wise? he resumes playmaking -> 9 assists (should be 12-13)

Tmac played great, he was GASSED at the end, but no limp at all.

Anyone else notice the belly through his jersey? He still looks about 10 or so pounds overweight....

That should come off quickly if he keeps playing. I wish he would have chosen to play through it the team would have at least 2 more wins...but whatever, he is back...let's hope he stays.

it's about confidence in his knee DD. had he kept playing and keep limping, his confidence wouldn't be as high.

resting and knowing the pain is mostly gone, he plays with more confidence and attacks more.

i still prefer for tracy to rest another week. then i'm sure a lot of his explosiveness would be back. but we have a soft schedule this month so it's not like he'll play 3 or 4 games in 5 or 6 nights.

and stats don't lie. counting the 3 games before he shut it down, with tracy, we've continued to shoot well, passed well, and rebound well.

when he hits his stride, we should really know how good this team can be.

I almost forgot we were missing Artest.

That's not to say we can win it all without him or anything like that. That's just saying the Warriors SUCK.

Guys he would have to knock the rust off some time, even if he waited until February.

He skipped training camp, started the season (dragging around a bit of extra LBS)...and then sat down again for 19 days.

He has to play to get in shape, glad he is back, I hope his confidence remains, but he needs to loose that weight to help his knees out.

And the fact that Rick left him in there to close the game should tell people that he is confident in Tmac's health.....

True , I hope he can get some more rest in the all star break and then after the all star break our team will start to hit their stride , we just need health.

Everybody , I want us to be able to play Battier for how long we need , Artest to not be limited by his ankle and T-Mac and Yao to continue to improve their game shape.

If that happens and we stay helathy I feel optimstic.

It's too bad that he won't be resting too much on the All-Star Break, because he'll be there. :) It ain't too alte, my 100 votes a day might help, haha.

But yeah, Yao is looking much better, and is finally looking to be in game shape, and Battier is getting better, too. Tracy wasn't limping around, and seemed less bother by his knee, but now he just needs to work his way back to game shape. Once he does, it'll be hard to beat us.

Ron Ron also needs to pick up on his offense. Other than his 3-point shooting, he needs to work a bit to fit the team. I think when he plays with the bench, he'll be alright, but he needs to try to learn to finsih at the rim. He's attacking the rim, but he just can't finish for some reason. Perhaps because of his ankle, at least, I'm hoping so.

I like the t-mac I saw out there. Not forcing the issue (not too many bad shots), and just letting the game come to him. I would like to see this starting lineup stay and when Ron comes back, he could lead the bench. I' am optimistic.

    T-Mac is a fraud

Did he seem having any injuries tonight? I think he is a lier. He just wanted to rest in those days.
I post this thread for those T-MAC lovers who bashed yao when yao played a good game tonight.

Given T-Mac's history, I would not doubt that he does feign injuries. When he was still with Orlando, he ADMITTED that he faked injuries, so how can anyone doubt this?

T-Mac is one of the most talented players ever, but he lacks maturity, integrity...and honor. The guy has no "honor".
