Bag of crap right now. This would be the 2nd time in a row I've randomly gone and saw the BOC, but its not looking like I'll be able to get through. Sigh. One day.

Supposedly tonight at midnight (CST) for April Fool's Day they will be offering Bag's of Crap. Get on right at midnight or risk missing out!! Go to youtube and look, there are videos of people opening them, to see what kind of stuff you typically get.

How do you actually get one? There has to be some kind of quasi-hack approach right? I've never been able to secure one. I'll see it on screen but the site seemingly crashes and by the time the dust settles they're all gone. What's the secret?!

Well the easiest way is to let me do the work for you. Send me $3+$5 shipping and I'll send you a bag of crap.

    1) be on there right at midnight
    2) use the secure sight https://www.woot.com
    3) have a high speed connection (not sure if this really helps since it's their servers that are actually getting crashed)
    4) get lucky
    5) F5 is your friend

a few other things you can do:

    1) go on beforehand and "order" something so that you know the steps and where to click, then just x out of the screen or remove the item, so you don't actually order it.
    2) not sure if it saves your information (cc#, address, etc.), but if it does, be sure to have that in beforehand.
    3) if it doesn't save your information, you could try one of those programs that will input it automatically. It's been years (like 10+) since I used one of these since the one I had been using was actually a virus, so be aware.
    4) if you can't do #'s 2 or 3, then just copy your CC# beforehand so you can paste it.

Combine those and you should be able to snag a few (I think the least you can order is 3).

Woot has my info saved. Actually, once you click "buy" you have secured the item. Technically its on hold. But I cant even get that far when its BOC time. Is refreshing the page the way to go? Or do you just wait it out? Ive tried both methods, now I do both methods on 2 separate browsers. There has to be an program or something out there.

I think using the secured sight practically guarantees that you'll get in. I plan on using the secured sight, and if that gives me trouble I'll just refresh a few times. If that doesn't work, then I'll probably just cut my losses and say oh well. As far as something special...there's nothing that I'm aware of, but I do know that most people just go to the regular site, not the secured sight, which should make it a lot easier. Be sure to come back and let us know if you got one, I'll do the same.
