Woot is bull****.

 

I'm starting to agree. I mean you hear all these stories about people getting high-end electronics and very nice gifts but I still have not heard one success story.

 

I think Woot may be F##king with the people that have the Firefox tool. Every time I come back to my desk today there is a new tab with a bag of crap... and then another with more batteries.

Is it me or have these things fallen off?

 

I like googling the comments on past bags of crap.

They had some great surprises between Thanksgiving and Xmas, but nowadays you aren't really missing much.

 

Like what between those time periods?

 

I think the recent big things were Zoombas, Robosapiens, and other overpriced junk.

That time period that made woot big included large DLPs, Plasmas, and LCDS, Xbox360s, Wiis, and PS3s.

They still give away TVs occasionally, but none the size of that period.

Call me crazy but so far the 4 or 5 woots I have seen tonight have been pretty cool. Race car boat, lawn lights that change color, decent speaker setup for your media player, 1GB PC w 160GB HD laptop under 400, etc..
