I'd say either go with Butler or Woods (I voted for Butler). On a side note i thought Butler had already declared http://msn.espn.go.com/ncb/news/2002/0417/1370180.html Welll maybe he just made it offical today
I'd go with Woods first, then Butler. Definately not Jeffries. Hopefully with Raptors makin playoffs we can hope to get Woods/Butler & Stoudemire. These 3 will whoop ass in the NBA.
I would probably go with Butler first because of his experience over Woods, but Woods sounds real nice too.I have heard that Woods is a good defender but needs to improve his 3 point shooting.
Definitely Caron Butler. Probably just because I haven't ever seen Woods play, highlights or anything. Why??? Nobody in this BBS ever mentions Jeffries, except to criticize him. Didn't Indiana win the conference? I didn't think they would, preseason. Didn't they make it to the Final Four? Jared Jeffries was, by far, the best player and leader of that team. I don't think we'll draft him. And we shouldn't within the top #7 or 8 picks, but I think you'll be surprised how good he is in the NBA. He looks kind of oafish or something, a little awkward, maybe. Don't be deceived. He is one of the strongest and most athletic players in the draft.
None of the above...If Ming is gone, I would draft Wilcox before any of those three...he looks like a Ben Wallace clone
Now, I change my answer. I think we SHOULD draft Butler #5 or #6. Maybe Woods. Although, I could envision Jared Jeffries as our future SF for many years after trading up a few spots from # 14. We should be able to grab 2 of the top 10 players in the draft after trading KT. With a little luck, I'd like to see us end up with the best 2 non-guards! Ming & Butler? Woods, Gooden, Stoudamire, Wilcox???? All could be great? But, Jared Jeffries could be the best!!! Just watch. Any combo of one player from each of these two groups- Ming Butler Stoudamire AND Woods Wilcox Jeffries Gooden
I don't know why it's not keeping the spacing when I reply??? Anyway, you get the picture. My groups are: Ming, Stoudamire, Gooden or Wilcox AND Butler, Woods or Jeffries
