I don't understand...CWood was a great prospect who was undrafted because of bad habits, ego and personal stuff. This is something he's acknowledged again and again and credits his hard start to improving on his work ethic and fixing his bad habits. Well, it seems as soon as he had the opportunity to be THE GUY that he's falling into bad habits again. If Silas doesn't disclose what happened, then I won't assume what Wood did. Maybe it was a tiny thing, maybe it was worse. But what I do know is that none of our other players are getting benched for breaking rules so it had to be something. Wood should be better than this. But he knows that, and he's said as much before. Now, what is he going to do about it? I wouldn't be disappointed at all in a trade
I think it’s well passed time for the GM and coach to have a heated conversation. They might start with a discussion of 47 points.
I’m glad Wood is causing some friction because with the way stone has operated with trying to rebuild the Rockets reputation when it comes to players relations, but I’ve been skeptical that he would move Wood when he has publicly come out and proclaimed how much he loves being here. If he’s breaking team rules and potentially getting into it with the Head Coach that is going to make it a lot easier for Rafael to pull the trigger.
Wow. Hotheads gonna hothead, I guess. KPJ not exactly playing like the second coming of John Stockton. Might want to keep your temper when you’re playing like crap.
I think it'll come down to which side they take, KPJ or Wood. Maybe they dump both, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't side with KPJ and dump Wood.
Sounds like they got into it with each other at halftime....seems like quite a few players get into it with Wood.
It's just so much worse with him this season. He's so demonstrative on the court. Slapping his hands for the ball, putting his hands out to the guy bringing it up like he's wide open every play. Throwing his hands up in frustration when he doesnt get it and doing the same whenever calls don't go his way. And then all the postgame stuff about needing the ball more. Just move him already.
