The other teams will file protest according to IAAF procedure, and some will be upheld and some will not...just like always.

filing protest is certainly done too much and for ridiculous things, but this is about as clear cut case as possible. Of course they, as well as any other country, should get to re-race. Good thing they finished the race though, because you have to complete the race to file a protest. pirc1, just stop. It's embarrassing.

Yes, but I doubt Chinese will medal in either case, they will be last even if they advance to finals. I just thought this was not something that you have reruns after a race is over.
