    Sounds like a cry for attention on her part more than anything. No one has gone trick or treating to her house yet this year, so no one has recieved one of these letters from her yet. So how did it become news, unless she reported it to the media herself?

    I'm pretty sure she was the one who publicized it. The she probably did it the 21st C. way by going onto social media rather than calling the media.
