You know, it actually varies from person to person in restaurant to restaurant.

Some McDonald's will charge $0.09, others $0.10, or even as much as $0.15. Some will still let you have them free. Then, you can go to the same restaurant the next day and another lady will give them to you for nothing.

They'll be damned if they ever start charging for their ketchup.

You are incorrect, Kraft makes both mayonnaise and Miracle Whip dressing. The two products are simular, and do share some of the same incredients, but they are two seperate products.

"Premiering at the Chicago World's Fair in 1933, Miracle Whip was an instant success, helping to make fresh foods such as fruit, vegetables and salads better tasting, more appealing and less expensive to Depression-weary consumers. A patented "emulsifying machine," invented by Charles Chapman, helped create a first-of-its-kind product that was a blend of existing mayonnaise products and less expensive salad dressing. The machine, informally called "Miracle Whip" by Chapman, ensured that pre-measured ingredients (including more than 20 different spices) could continuously enter the appliance and become thoroughly whipped and blended."
