    You don’t have to be English to speak English
    But if you make up fake words you will fail
    Your English test
    Same with Spanish
    I know some cheapskate non contributing fans no habla
    Then thinks it cool than some one made up a word that doesn’t exist in another language

    for example I don’t know Russian
    But if I made up a word in Russian that was fake and stupid
    No Russian person would respect my fake word

    then back to the topic
    Beyonce didn’t have to remove any lyrics in my opinion because she wasn’t trying to offend anyone or make up a fake word

    there’s lots of slang in English in America that doesn’t translate well to the other side
    Vice versa

    And yeah Janet Jackson has better songs than beyonce

    To answer your question...

    The Q can either mean Queer or Questioning, but I think the main definition is questioning. It means a person doesn't yet define themselves as to falling into the Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans category and is Questioning their sexuality.

    This is what people that cry about 'Latinx' don't seem to understand.

    Language is a fluid and living thing. That when referring to people might not have always been correct, but it is now, it is because @Os Trigonum and everyone else understood what was being said.

    Going on about 'X's in spanish and how 'Gringos' started that (which isn't true, but I digress) is silly. Spanish exists because it derived itself from another language. Latin, and pulls words and influence from Arabic.

    How does one go from Latin to Spanish? This is a question people like @tinman should ask himself. A question he should study and hopefully learn that new words and rules are introduced into languages all the time without any of us realizing it.

    I thought someone that tried to lecture me on what 'slang' is would understand that but if Tinman would like to further educate himself here is a video.



    So, as we can see, it's completely natural that 'gringos' would influence Spanish language and vice versa, that's how language and in general culture works.

    Long story short, things change, we can't be stuck in the 90s forever.
