I should back off Beyonce being arguably the biggest pop star ever. We live in the Taylor Swift world. It's just Swift is more than pop.

Also I'm separating pop from R&B but I don't consider R&B a sub category of pop.

I do think Madonna was really is in a league of her own as influence on fans and other artists. Janet Jackson at one point was also definitely on top of pop music

Not listening to pop music on a regular and googling female pop stars, I didn't consider Mariah Carey or Lady Gaga. Mariah Carey's voice is so awesome I don't like calling her pop, also Whitney Houston who was off the charts when she started. But just after the Google I'll back off Beyonce . AOC is a gringa. Latinx is a term gringos and gringas made up to label other gringos and gringas who are LGBT and come from some Latino lineage. The people of Latin American countries will never refer to each other as latinx because that isn't Spanish, the language spoken in those countries.
