It's my favorite show of all time because it triggers you.

But the show itself is rather generic and mid.

 

We already went over this, Japanese themed with a non Japanese main character. Out of everyone they chose the only black dude they could find from the era... That's like making an Assassins Creed game about an African tribe and choosing a white missionary as the main character even thou he was the only white dude....

 

Mid and generic doesn't bother you thou, and that's why every single movie and game have generic woke characters now. Because people stopped caring about actual well written characters and stories.

 

Woke people think its okay for She Hulk to control her anger better than Bruce because she been cat called all her life..... WTF...

 

I get this but so many new games are downright garbage. Pay to play despite being full price. Games being $70+ dollars. Games being broken at the onset. This game is going to be awful no matter how they package it.

 

This is true but wokeness is every bit a part of it, instead of hiring talented people and letting studios make the games they want to make we have publishers hiring diversity inclusion managers. Games and movies are specifically being written by liberal woke women for a more "modern audience". There is rarely pride and soul to anything coming out, its all generic and woke. Its broken because companies are spending money on $hit that does not matter. How many Nintendo games come broken out the box? How many Japanese studios are forced to meet a political agenda? Most Switch games can be played offline and with no bugs or glitches. Is it too much to ask that the games we pay for are working and free of political movements?

 

This tells you everything about the woke movement, its not about black people getting roles in films and games. Its about not letting white attractive people have roles in films and games. Its a racist movement to turn everything to $hit because they are liberal and unhappy.

 

I wouldn’t call it wokness but I recognize what you’re talking about. It almost like modern media (movies, tv, video games) have been Netflixified. What do I mean by that? It means the end product is a the Frankstein monster of committees who want to make a product that “people will like” by checking off boxes for representation and social justice but it’s empty feeling and lacks a vision. Many Netflix movies are like this (Untoasted for example). Just like when corporations say they love Gays but not in the Middle East. Or when corporations put up an image of a women in a hijab next to a gay presenting person and a black man. It’s ridiculous. It doesn’t address prejudice and it sure as hell won’t fix it.

Now b****ing aside about that. I don’t care if the protagonist in a video game is black brown white asian man women or whatever else. It’s just story-telling. But I would care if in this game he is just a black stereotype and goes “wakanda for ever”. And like mentioned earlier they are often type cast as gay or transgender. They want to subvert our expectations with tropes.

 

I don’t have a PS5 nor a PC. Won’t be playing this game anyways. I’d much rather prefer a Yasuke live action movie. I understand there was an animated show based on Yasuke on Netflix but I don’t watch cartoons. Bummer

 

Imagine the Joker, but instead of the Joker he was the GAY Joker.

Its just an ugly chick replacing an attractive one
Its just a trans replacing an actual women
Its just a completely different ethnicity representing an entire culture

"Its Just" is how we got here. People were too bothered to do something about it or not support these trash woke companies and now its an epidemic of bad content everywhere. It doesn't stop here, it gets worse and worse and worse. There is no limit to wokeness. I don't buy games from woke companies. I won't support this $hit....
