The average poster over there is way more educated on basketball. hate to break it to you. There are some great people around here that know what they are talking about, but my god the stupid over here drowns it out. If you want an actual basketball discussion dreamshake is the place to be. I come here more for quick update news, hype and humor. Oh yeah and Bima
Where's @Codman or @cyberx? And my bad I saw his face and didn't bother to check the screenname. I should have noticed since the real potato head changed his profile pic.
If you want to leak what woj has said, it's easy. Just not with your official twitter account. Or post it in a forum anonymously. Why cyber doesnt' post with his real name here?
This. And to be clear, I doubt it's ESPN/Woj that were upset about it. The back story with SB Nation, and the same goes with most blogs... there's a long-standing issue with blogs getting media credentials and access. The establishment has long worried about unprofessionalism from bloggers, and this is a gray area. I respect Ethan, and he's a great guy, but in this case... it's a sensitive subject he eavesdropped on (accidentally, of course) from another reporter in a media area. While it's not a huge deal to me, I could see some traditional media hardliners believing it crossed a line, and I could see his bosses at SB Nation (or folks at the Summer League) not liking how it comes off. Especially since many in the industry are still against blogs getting credentials (personally, I do not share this opinion). Or maybe Ethan simply became wary of that perception himself after a few minutes. Regardless, I can say with certainty that it's not BS. If Ethan tweeted it, he heard it. The "deletion" is due to issues of media etiquette, not accuracy.
Guess he changed his mind about being fine with it because he wouldn't likely ever be in the room with Woj,
Well, there's not much he can do about it now, he took the tweet down and apologized which is all he can really do so he might as well be fine with it at this point.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">FWIW: Rumors are rumors, but I've been hearing a lot from my sources the past few weeks about a likely <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rockets?src=hash">#Rockets</a> and Carmelo trade.</p>— Alykhan Bijani (@Rockets_Insider) <a href="">July 11, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Never said I found educated basketball talk on here. This website is filled with mostly wierdos and trolls, but I come here mainly for your same reasons. Doesn't mean that I can't also think the bloggers at the other place are trash as well.
I want to go take a shower, but this Woj bomb seems imminent...this Melo trade is controlling my life wrap this up already
I gotta say, I've gotten a lot of likes/reps over the years, but I feel like this one is the most deserving.
Really Bijani? Even my own momma knows about the rumors of a potential Melo trade to Houston, and she doesn't even care about basketball. multiple insiders real or fake have been talking about it, that isn't news
Rumors going around my house that I will likely have to take a #2 in the can before I go to bed tonight due to eating some hot chili
