Thank God. What other teams is JVG rumored to be talking to? I heard the T'Wolves, but they're obviously off the table.

If the Rockets wanna go after Durant this summer, they better take Scott Brooks.

So, why would OKC... who desperately wants to keep KD... even entertain getting rid of Brooks if he was that important to their franchise player?

Brooks means nothing in terms of landing KD... Durant is going to go where he feels he has the best shot to be happy and win. He could go home to DC... he could go to LA... or he could go to Houston. He knows more than anybody that coaches come and go.

Everybody here should be rooting hard for the Washington Wizards or the Lakers to hire Scott Brooks. That way the Rockets get stuck with Jeff Van Gundy only.

And if Jeff sits down and talks to Leslie, Daryl & Tad and says "Nah, this ain't gonna work out." or "Nah, I'm good."

As DaDakota might put it, Leslie wants to go head coach star ****ing. :)

This is what I'm not understanding. If Brooks was THAT much of a factor for KD, why did OKC let him go in the first place? It seems like they would've done everything in their power to keep him around.

At that point why not push real hard to get Noah as well? The Bulls are going nowhere fast.

Yep... the answer is he's not.

KD would never speak badly about any former coach... let alone Brooks... but when it came time to try and save his job, KD didn't stand in the FO's way.
