He needs to lose 15-20 pounds. Shouldn't be a problem.

Wonder why no one's talking up Sacramento as a trade partner?

We trade with them every year anyway.

If we're willing to pay to move up, what's the max that Les can spend in this case? $3,000,000 + #14 pick for the #5? (A fair trade? Needs sweetener? Throw in the worst of the two 1st rounders we'll have in 2012.)

Tell that to Zach Randolph, Carmelo Anthony and Shaq who lost weight and improved their game.

They did get along. It was just tough love. If they didn't like each other or didn't get along I doubt they would be seen here eating together the other day.

Did you see the NBA Pre draft workout show where Katz I believe asked him if he would play for Coach Calipari in the pros?

I think that picture is more one of relief....

Yes and he said playing for Cal was hard... doesn't mean they didn't get along. From what I understand Cuz was at Cal's house playing with his son all the time. There are coaches that I had that personally I got along with very well, but I hated playing for them. There are also coaches I couldn't spend five minutes with outside a court (volleyball) but they let me run the show on it and we were successful.

DeMarcus needs someone to be tough on him until he figures out how to be tough on himself. There will be those that say he won't ever be self-motivated, but I think he will.

He was a surly kid because of how he's been treated in the past. UK was the first place he was ever accepted for who he is... now get him some vets around him and a coach who knows how to deal with him and he will succeed. I sort of feel like I've been repeating myself over and over again about Cousins.

    Yes I saw it.

Cousins said "I'm not answering that"

With Cousins loving his School Kentucky why would he answer that with all of the rumors surrounding Coach Cal.

Cousins also said that his work ethic improved because of Coach Cal.

The player that was rumored not to get along with Cal throughout the season was backup Center Daniel Orton not Demarcus Cousins.

People give too much credit to how young kids play in college, trying to make predictions to how their game is going to translate in NBA

It is very difficult to say for example that Cousins has the tools, but does he have the menality, or does Whiteside going to be a dhoward version just because of physical tools, you can't be acurate

What i can say is that Camby is earning 8M in Portland, and right now his offensive game is 0

I will make a harder push, you Dhoward, what is his post-up move??? let me jump higher then you, because physicaly he is dominant, you don't need skill to dunk, you don't much skill to get a crtial ofensive board in game 7, you don't need much skill to block kobe layup attempt when there are 0.6 s left

My point is Whitside, is worth the gamble, between picks 8-14, but my prediction is that Toronto 13th pick will choose him

But in this draft several trades will happen, my opinion

    PEACE

After listening to Bill Simmon's interview with Sacramento's GM, I don't see that happening- not that cheap, if even.

Sacramento has one of the youngest, if not the youngest (not certain on that), teams in the NBA. After snagging the ROY a few picks back, you can expect the Kings to look for that big C presence- Demarcus Cousins.

That doesn't mean anything. It's like pictures of your hated boss at the office party. Just because you are posing together, it doesn't mean you get along great.

You know a picture says alot. This picture of Cousins says, " Hey, it was good seeing you again coach." That is a legit smile.

Everyone, STOP HATING ON DEMARCUS COUSINS! The dude can straight up ball. He's a huge guy who moves pretty well for a man his size. Great back to the basket game and if he can continue to develop his jumpshot he can be one heck of a center. These "attitude problems" y'all speak of are starting to get taken way out of hand. It makes me sick.

Name me one big guy with "attitude problems" that made it in the NBA and became a superstar?

OTOH, I'll name you several guys who had all world talent but had attitude problems and never really lived up to their hype:

    1. Eddy Curry
    2. Rasheed Wallace
    3. Derrick Coleman
    4. Eddie Griffin
    5. Michael Beasley
    etc. etc.

Big guys have a hard time making it in the NBA, no matter how hard working you are you're still gonna have a hard time adjusting and working on your game. If someone has attitude problems there's 99.999% he not gonna be successful.

I think Rasheed has lived up to his hype and exceeded it.
