how and why did this turn into a Rubio circle jerk?

Rockets need to focus on the front line first. Rockets need more size.

And players never, EVER lie to the media.

Maybe he was telling the truth, maybe he wasn't. I can't imagine he's all that thrilled with Minnesota over some of the other markets. Nothing against Minnesota, besides it being a far-flung and icy outpost in the NBA empire.

Agreed, back to topic ... what would it take to move up to the #3 or #4 spots to land cousins?! and what are the biggest needs of Minny and NJ?... By knowing that, hopefully we can create package that can land us in either pick...

PS. I'm officially on the "Going after Cousins train", the guy is nimble, skilled and strong... not to mention he possess legit size at 6'11 and a 7'6 wingspan...

I don't know if he was saying the truth or not and I know Minnesota isn't exactly the most appealing market. But all I have been saying is that Rubio has yet to say anything against playing in Minnesota, and nothing of substance that means he won't ever play there. The only one talking crap has been Dan Fegan and my impression on Rubio (based on quotes and such) has been quite positive.

All depends if Minny trades up to get their guy (Turner), then its all about the Sixers.

Very nice back to basket spin move. It will be hard to pry the pick away from Minnesota...they have a hard time attracting free agents...so they have to depend on the draft.

Fair enough. Dan Fegan certainly knows he'll make more money if his client is in a bigger market. Rubio? Who knows his true opinion. In any case, it's nothing for me to harp on. Sure, I'd love to have Rubio on the team, but not at the expense of next season.

Just because everytime Rubio's name gets mentioned I think of how it's similar a promising young leader of a band of kids met his untimely death at the hands of Dustin Hoffman in drag that's worse than his role in Tootsie.

Yeah I don't see it happening Turner is to much of a can't miss prospect for Philly to trade the pick... so 1st & 2nd picks are pretty much locks, and so will IMO be the 3rd pick; Derrick Favors(PF) fits to well in the front court of the NJ Nets with Brook Lopez(C), for them to pass up on him...

Here is what NBADRAFT.NET had to say about Cousins.

Apparently he must have some issues.

You and Hillboy should feel free to leave this thread and not come back if it bothers you so badly. Last time I checked, none of the requirements for posting in this forum said a word about only posting things approved by you.

Honestly, I think what StevieRebel said is all you need to know about this tweet.

Morey is always trying to move up, and he's all about value.

I doubt he's going to overpay for an inknown commodity.

I really rather avoid Eddie Griffin part 2.

Assuming that the Rockets could pry away the number three pick, would you prefer them draft Favors or Cousins?

    Favors is the safer pick.

He's more raw but has a higher ceiling, correct?

Where Cousins has a lower ceiling, but is more fundamentally sound, but has some attitude problems?

    Is that pretty much it?
