Maybe we just like the Rockets and want to talk about their prospects. Novel concept.

I'd bet its Evan Turner. Obviously Wall goes #1, and Sixers may be the only team that has NO USE for Evan Turner.

Man Turner, then moving Martin/Hill for Bosh (dreaming, but hell if that does happen).

What a sexy, sexy team that would be:

    Yao/Hayes/Ander
    Bosh/Scola
    Ariza/Battier
    Turner/Taylor
    Brooks/Lowry

Looks so good on paper if nothing else.

Would you say that if we knew your real name?

Why does every one keep on saying they have no use for Turner, he can play the SG position moving Iggy to the SF position(his natural position)... Turner and Holiday could be one hell of a back court ...

The same thing could be said for Favors, who with Lopez could create one of the best young front lines in the NBA ...

IMO opinion the top 3 picks are pretty much locked up, and 4th pick down could be had for the right price ...

    Wizards - John Wall PG
    Philly - Evan Turner SG
    Nets - Derrick Favors PF

So, what do you do with Thaddeus Young, Elton Brand, Marresse Speights, or Lou Williams?

i'm not sure what you're saying here. I agreed i made a mistake thinking he averaged 30 the year after surgery, when in fact it was the year after that, not 5 like you said. If yao is already 10 months into his rehab and not even playing yet, it's safe to say Z rushed back to quickly, afterall at the time there was no way to know what a proper timetable for such a procedure was. Now Yao has that to use to gauge his own timetable, which appears to be headed for more than a year....so like i said, it makes sense to say Z needed more than the 9 months he took to completely rehab back, which is why that first year he was limited to a back up role and 20 mins per game.

The following year he was completely healthy and up to 30 a game. And again, his surgery was considered a success, which is still the point. He hasn't had an issue since or another surgery since.

Thaddeus could come of the bench and so can Lou Williams, if not they can also trade those players or Iggy to get rid of Brands "Albatross" contract...

But what I was trying to say, was that Turner fits great into Philly's back court, and so does Favors into Nets front court making those two player pretty close to locks for #2 and #3 picks... making the 4th pick a trade-able asset for David Kahn, who wanted to score big with either Wall, Turner or Favors... but may not get that chance...

In adittion reports have surfaced that Kahn is willing to move down the draft to get specific needs ....Link
making the 4th pick available for the right price...

IMO I think we end up with Bosh and Rubio in a series of trades and If we somehow end up with the #4 pick so much the better.

Something like AB, #14, and 2011 #1 pick to Minn for Rubio and #4.

Then Battier, Hill, Jeffries, Knicks 2012 pick to Toronto for Bosh.

    Lowry/Rubio
    Martin/Taylor
    Ariza/Buddinger
    Bosh/Scola/Anderson
    Yao/Cousins

I think AB, Hill, Battier, and the Knicks 2012 pick are tradebait to net us Rubio, #4, and Bosh. If we can pull this off and keep Buddinger, then yes Morey is a God.

#14+2012 first rounder+Ariza for the 4th pick. Minny gets a solid wing and still a decent first rounder and then the future first rounder on top of it all.

This would be my dream scenario. Minnesota knows that Rubio will probably never play for them, or at least hate playing there. It was recently said that their GM wants more draft picks. For the second trade though, I think we would end up sending Scola out instead of Hill (so, we sign Scola in that deal and send him off). So, I could see our lineup being:

    Rubio/Lowry
    Martin/Taylor (lets hope he improves)
    Ariza/Budinger
    Bosh/Cousins
    Yao/Hill

One problem I could see is the SG spot. Martin is known for injuries and I'm not sure how we would look with him out. Budinger would probably start, but we would end up being thin there.

This makes sense and could be tweaked to include Al Jefferson going to Toronto if needed. It would also have to include Jarrett Jack coming back with Bosh because Rubio is not going to be here for another year.

Don't forget, Lowry is a Philly kid. I know we love him but I'm wondering if he is a sign and trade possibility with Philly. If they really want him and they are willing to sign him to a MLE type deal, say $5 million starting salary, Morey could possibly sign and trade him to Philly along with one of our SFs (Ariza, Battier, or Jeffries), for Iggy. Then you've got the other 2 SFs and DA, along with Hill, the #14, and the Knicks 2012 pick to use for Bosh and Jack.

This would still leave us with the pick swap in 2011 plus future picks to offer for Rubio. And it still leaves us with the possibility of doing a 3-way trade with Minny and Toronto where we send out expirings plus Hill and picks and get back Bosh, rights to Rubio, and a decent playmaking point such as Sessions to tide us over this next season until Rubio arrives.

    Brooks/Jack or Jack/Sessions
    Martin/Taylor
    Iggy/Budinger
    Yao/Scola
    Bosh/Hayes
    Free agent
    Free agent

    2011 add Rubio

Targets Bush, Rubio, and another star player. Iggy may just be doable. May cost us Budinger, I don't know. But a re-signed Lowry, an expiring, and a pick or Budinger may get us Budinger and still leave us with assets to get Bosh and rights to Rubio.

Jarrett Jack is a Morey type player. He plays within the system. He is intelligent, a very good defender, known for his defense, a quality shooter, and he is a great finisher around the rim. He is very efficient offensively and very good defensively. If we had to give up Lowry in a sign and trade, and we could get Jack back somehow, we haven't lost anything, especially if we add major cogs offensively and defensively in two guys like Iggy and Bosh.

    Call me crazy.

It could work, but I doubt theyw ant to take that much salary back. Using Andersen and Harris instead of Jeffries and the salaries should still match. They can waive Harris, if the deal is non-guaranteed like James White.

LOL Minny isn't trading Rubio, you guys need to accept that fact already. He's the only one on the roster I'd consider anywhere near untouchable.

He's the only one on their roster who doesn't want to go to there.

And where the hell did you get that from? He's never even said anything about not wanting to play there.

Why wouldn't they trade him? Rubio won't play for the T-wolves. The t-wolves haves less than nothing, if they don't use Rubio in a trade.
