Damn. Hate this. Hope he recovers quickly. Always enjoyed Tony Parker.

As for the series' ramifications...not sure it's a huge loss for the Spurs. He played very well last night, but Mills and Anderson present tougher defensive matchups for us. Their bench will be slightly weaker with Mills presumably moving into the starting lineup. Maybe more Jonathan Simmons as well. We'll see.

A minor setback for a major comeback. Get well soon, Tony.

There's a team out there called Golden State that will disagree with your prediction.

Patty Mills is better, Kawai with the ball in his hands more is worse for the Rockets, Tony Parker is old and he didn't deserve to have the ball in his hands as much as he did

Won't matter one bit. If we get past the Warriors, not one sane person is going to say we had an easy road. That is, if we do get past SA.

The only thing this guarantees is an excuse if we do win the series because everyone will just say they only won because Parker got hurt even though the only reason we won game one was because Kawai didn't have any help.

pitty, because I truly believe they are better with him having the ball in his hands less, therefore better without them since Tony has an ego.

Mills is not a starter. He is a spark plug off the bench. Its almost like Vinny Johnson replacing Isaiah Thomas.

Parker played better last series for them, but Mills matches up better against Beverley.

Mills starting means that Manu, Kyle Anderson, or Dejounte Murray will see increased minutes though.

Don't forget that Curry is also battling ankle issues.

Ouch, same injury that ended Barkley and Mutombo's careers

Feel bad for Parker but not too bad. He's got a lot of championships and a lot of playoff wins in his career. He isn't chasing a ring like Barkley did or ended his career too early like Brandon Roy or Yao Ming. He will be back next year and they'll be the same Spurs machine. Rockets better capitalize.

Sad, sad loss for the Spurs. He was a tough little nugget.

That being said, time for the Rockets to take advantage and use Beverley to hound Kawhi on defense. Double him every time he touches the ball. We cannot allow Kawhi to shoot anywhere close to 81% from the field again. Put Ariza and Beverley on permanent Kawhi duties and force Patty Mills to run the offense and score instead.

This is sad news. Plus we will now have an asterisk on our championship.

Hate to see this happen to any player. At his age could be a career ending injury.

Already was going to be one due to Jordan not being in the league this season.
