from my understanding, tendon tears are worse than ligament tears......is this correct?

The Spurs are a hated rival. And for my hated rivals in sports I always wish that my team beats them badly.

But no matter how hated the rival is, I never wish for an injury for any player. Hope for full recovery for Parker.

Very sad for Parker, who was having some obviously great playoffs so far.

To speak pragmatically for the playoffs, this means the charmed Warriors will once again benefit. Taking off my Rockets hat and just dispassionately looking at it: Warriors will face Rockets with a somewhat hobbled Harden or the Spurs without Parker. (And if the Spurs have trouble keeping up with our backcourt...)

I feel the same way. Last night I was just amazed at his performance. He looked like the young TP. Too bad, the Rockets won't be playing against the Spurs' best. I pray for his complete recovery.

To be fair, the Warriors are without their head coach and Durant's leg could give out at any time.

True on Kerr. Durant is looking really good so far and hasn't had to pile up many minutes so far.

Feel terrible for Kerr, but not Warriors overall somehow. (As I've said, I suffer from Bay Area trauma of their fans and radio coverage. The struggle is real here, for a loyal Rox fan.)

Sorry to hear this. Now, if the Rockets win this series, it will only be because the Spurs are missing Parker.

Warriors losing their head coach doesnt mean much. They know the system already. Durant is icing on the cake to their star studded trio of steph klay and draymond.

Those are both nothing compared to rockets with a hobbled harden or spurs with no TP

Damn hate injuries to any player let alone to key player on any team. I am sure Parker will heal up nicely and get back to what he does best if possible.

Never want to see anyone get hurt.

I think the most shocking thing is that he's only 34 years old. Who would have guessed that. I honestly thought he was 40. It seems like he's been in the league for 20 years.

Depends on a full/partial tear and also which ligament/tendon.

Some info on Quadriceps Tendon injuries:

That sucks. Best of luck to him on a speedy recovery. Hoping that is better than a knee injury. I have always respected Parker's game, though that little b*stard has driven me nuts over the years

A win is a win, nobody said that when the Lakers won because Yao went out.

Always liked Tony Parker. Sad to see that look on his face.
