If they buy him out, that will be such a huge failure on their part. The one major personnel piece from dealing your franchise's second greatest all-time player at his peak gets bought out a few months later. That would be truly shameful. If it comes to that, I'd much rather take an expiring and a 2nd rounder. Give me anything over a buyout.

How do u go from “Rockets have a lot of deals for Dipo including a possible mid-1st” to “we couldn’t get anything for Dipo and he’ll be here until he leaves in the summer?”

big, fat, sloppy L’s for the whole front office if he’s not traded...Stone, stop playing with my emotions

Well if they take the bag of dog ****, at least the younger players get time and the fans will not be reminded of the failure every time they see Oladipo on the floor for the Rockets..... this is why I believe they still trade him, probably in some convoluted deal that doesn't net much but some fans get excited at.

I just want Oladipo gone, every time I see him I think of Harden and it REALLY pisses me off.

    Wow,

lots of fans here got offended by this post.

Our new great GM was light years better than that fat dude left, just a few weeks ago according to the die hard fans here.

now we know we leaked all that **** to get people to up their bids, huge laughing stock and huge fail. I’m not going to judge Stone, Silas really wanted him and I’m sure Tillman had a say in this as in he’s glad to just let him walk so he doesn’t have to pay up.

...not sure what is up with Houston sports franchises these days but there seems to be a concerted effort to see who can waste opportunity in the most absurd way. 3ish years ago it wasn't outside the possibility that we were legit contenders in the 3 major sports - rebuilding is inevitable, but the embarrassing way these franchise have gotten there is unheard of, right?

sure does look that way atm, but I refuse to believe u can’t cobble up some trade for Oladipo when you’ve had weeks to work the phones

Why is he still on the roster? I’ll take a 3rd round pick. Goodness just taking minutes away from
    Other players

it doesn’t matter to me if Silas wanted him, Stone is the one who did the trade for Oladipo and should’ve known better...he’s the GM

How are u just gonna do a trade because of the rookie head coach’s desires?
