Westbrook getting traded for Kuzma Pope Harrell & 22. Is so weird to me. Not sure how he has that sort of value still.
As we found out ourselves trading for Russ...teams that are in 'win now' mode can get pretty desperate to keep their window open. Lakers were desperate. They didn't have many avenues to improve. Hopefully, Miami, Boston, 6ers, Nuggets, Utah...someone makes a desperate move for Wall too. I guess we'll see what happens with Lowry, he'll be the next guard teams will be drooling over and then Dame if anything happens to him but someone might get desperate for a former all-star PG with something to prove.
Should never have traded him, the argument with Harden was a ploy to free Westbrook from Tilman before Harden's own trade demand. He would have been a way better tank commander than Wall, and even though we didn't know it looks like he would have had value down the road.
