What the ****. I bet that becomes two 2nds. Is this really the best we could do??? Yes, I know, Westbrook. But Wall is objectively worse.
This is a high risk/high reward move. Boogie and Wall are tight. Harden and Wall are tight. Harden is "the man" again for the Rox. For sure Tilman and Stone consulted with Harden before they pulled the trigger as Harden is getting his ass kissed even more. First round pick attached (hopefully minimal restrictions) and we still have firsts for Roco. Stone is making the right moves. If Harden is traded, we'll definitely be set up to be competitive soon after. To me it's a win/win. Wall can ball when he's healthy and the dude is a killer during crunch time. Russ didn't want to be here so let his ass go.... deuce.
John Wall per NBA.com 17/18 Catch and Shoot 0.9 (3PM)...........2.0 (3PA)............43.8 (3P%)...........64.5 (NBA percentile) 18/19 Catch and Shoot 1.2 (3PM).............3.2 (3PA)..........37.3 (3P%)............55.8 (NBA percentile) https://www.nba.com/stats/players/catch-shoot/?Season=2018-19&SeasonType=Regular Season
I'd rather shake it up than allow us to waste a season with Westbrook and him causing drama. Or else Harden is gone without ever giving this a chance.
Damn! Rafa not playing! Having watched the wiz for years, Wall is explosive and athletic......but us low key wiz fans saw his ass in street clothes a lot. how do I feel? Incomplete and unsure
Morey with the best and the worst trade in Houston Rockets history. Morey need to be slandered for trading CP3 and the Rockets future.
Yea because regular season Russ would raise his value... the optics are bad I wish the pick was lower protections and in next years draft.
wtf WESTBROOK is not toxic..... john wall on the other hand, has been disliked by just about every teammate he has had except cousins...another guy most players don't like. everyone loves russ the person.
Yeah, that’s where I’m coming out. The contracts are basically identical. Even if he’s healthy, Wall is not a better player than Westbrook...and the guy has been hurt for multiple years now. I was hopeful the pick had upside, or we got some pick swaps to mitigate the Paul trade, but even that’s out the window. Boogie on a minimum deal was a fine risk reward. A guy who relies on athleticism and is hurt for 2 years who makes $40 million Ouch. The locker room dynamic will be interesting. Harden is obviously the alpha, but Wall and Cousins are big personalities who are very close...
