So this is actually consistent with what Bra Bra and what James mom has said. James wants to win a championship and he loves Houston but believes he cant win here.

This is all the more reason to play this season out. Why not do it, why not????? There is no good reason why we shoulndt try out this season right now.

He really didn't have a choice but to waive Green because of Clemons injury which they are now on the hook for his salary which leaves them with less than the vet min in cap space remaining. Impossible to retain Green in that case.

Now if they can move Clemons or some other salary reducing move .... I'd wager Green is back with the team.

This nuggets new is not new news. I saw a supposed Nuggets insider mention coach Malone really wants Harden but their management wants to keep MPJ long term about a week ago. Didn’t think to much of it before as I thought it’s another crackpot like scoop b. The nuggets have been mentioned as a sleeper before

Harden is not a cancer. Harden just likes his strippers. Plus in the NBA Harden is not a player teams will pass up on due to being arguably the best scorer/top5 player in the entire league... His talent is to great for a fringe contender who is on the cusp to tempting to pass up on. Guys like that rarely if ever come on the market under the current circumstances when you can get him for lesser then usual asking price

James Harden is 31 years old. A lot of people on here either forget that or ignore it. But realistically, Harden only has about a 2 year window left of MVP-level, top 5 status. He wants out to play on a legit contender while he’s still at that level.

Even if everything goes right: Wall and Cousins stay healthy all season, Gordon returns to form, Wood proves he’s not a fluke, and Silas turns out to be legit, at best we’re looking at a 4-5 seed.

All of the following teams would provide Harden with a better chance to win and become title favorites:

Denver with Harden, Murray, and Jokic.
Brooklyn with Harden, KD, and Kyrie.
Miami with Harden, Bam, and Butler.

Harden deserves a ring. We would all love for it to happen here, but it’s highly unlikely. It’s time to move on.

 

If all that is true, we are more than that. You guys really have to understand that not having Westbrook on this team is going to boost our offense like crazy. Did you see how we beat the Spurs, we beat them no problem.....like it was easy for us and our guys werent even going that hard.

If all that goes well like you said, there is no reason why we arent better than a 4-5 seed, no way.

 

In additon to other team posturing and agenda media leaks, watch for burner accounts from other fanbases.

If everything works out our ceiling is very high and we're a much better team than last year.

Third team would have to offer a proven young star and take Harris $182 million terrible contract.
