I tell you why I am confident. 1 there is noway the Cavs are dumping Love a younger, better player for Melo. 2 the Knicks are not taking the likes of Shumpert and Jr Smith in return so that rules out the Cavs 3 If the Cavs are out that only leaves us and Morey is the one now in to the the box seat who can dictate the terms to the Knicks ONLY IF HE HAS A 3RD TEAM involved. Hence there is very little chance we will over sell for Melo
Ghetto gerber baby. Best melo tater flavored baby food 'round. Only available in NYC, where owners are owners and gm's and Charles Oakley don't care.
I personally haven't been a fan of his over the course of his career, but with the league going toward jump shooting, I have to give it to him. He's a devastating shooter with the size and strength to create his own shot. It's an exciting time to be a Rockets fan if we get him. One of the best offseasons in ages.
Things Melo's been working on his videos 1. Catch and shoot 2. Catch and attack 3. Dump offs on the baseline 4. More dunking at the rim(will help with finishing) 5. Running the floor more 6. Ball handling(imagine having a ball handler at the 4 spot, 4/5 pick n roll is deadly) 7. Overall conditioning 8. Refining his post game I think Melo still has maybe 3 years of great basketball left in him(33, 34 and 35)
Sounds like the rockets told him what to work on being a stretch4 in Houston. That's practically exactly what we are looking for.
I posted this in another thread but got no responses and I'm curious as to what others think: In addition to Anderson + NGs being sent out, how would you feel for each of the following scenarios? 1. No picks 2. One 2nd round pick 3. One 1st round pick 4. One 1st round pick & One 2nd round pick 5. One 1st round pick & Two 2nd round picks 6. One rotation player (unlikely I know)
Waiting for Melo news is annoying. But then again, life could be worse as an NBA fan. http://www.nba.com/video/2017/06/26/netscom-nets-introduce-dangelo-russell-and-timofey-mozgov
Some dude was on ESPN SC saying while the deal is not close to being done right now but Melo is confident he will be traded to Houston. Kudos to Potato head
