He's like bizarro Morey. Thought just drafting a million 1st round picks was going to work out and now we're having to hand our horrible contracts to get players to come here after the kids ended up Lord of the Flies-ing it for 2 years. Basically drafted his dumb ass into a corner. Morey did the same but in reverse. At least Morey gave us some WCF appearances.
Yet he made a good impact with his team. I'm not denying that he can shoot you out of game, but more often than not he is a positive.
This is why I wanted the Rockets to play one season without tanking so they could at least try to bring the value of some of these players up. I believe the team was better than what they showed. TyTy and Josh didn't play much so we can't really miss what we never had, but Garuba and KMJ are valuable players. Especially KMJ. Some people don't think he's special but he just makes what he does look easy. Maybe he's peaked, idk but the Rockets will miss his rebounding, blocks at the rim and efficiency. I can't believe Stone traded them for pretty much nothing. Hopefully Amen and Cam live up to their potential. The team may see something in them we haven't seen yet.
KJ looking for a new deal, and while he did play well at times, it was on a sorry team which doesn’t get u much league-wide respect…so I can see why he went for peanuts we all know the likes of Ty Ty, Garuba, and JC are worth an Arby’s meal or half eaten Papa John’s at best
Seems like we lost this trade. KJ will be a fan favorite and a spark plug. Shame we couldn’t fit him into our plans, or at least get some value for him.

This is ridiculous. Lucky enough to find a prospect in second round. Now we want two more chances to find a prospect, while second rounders are most likely a bust.
exactly. Silas made sure everyone on the roster looked like ass. WE saw the talent in all these players because we saw them everyday. Someone is going to get a player; at least 1 or all 4 going to do some stuff. it is what it is. we move on.
You are right a starter on the team with top 4 record in the league is worse than a bench player on the worst team in the league. Go apply for the GM job right now Einstein!
At least Stone got some guys that are willing to play defense. Didn't fill the need for a shot blocker.
Cam and Eason and KPJ who is going to play wing it looks like and yeah, Brooks. KJM is an expiring young player that's about to hit the market and if these numbers this season are any indication, he's about to get paid. Like, people might have to consider that this off season in particular there might not have been much value to KJM. If we find out the Rockets had some better offer on the table, sure, but we all knew KJM wasn't in the teams long term plan.
Don't know what you guys are whining about this spoiled kid. He jumps. That's it. Hopefully we get a TEAM guy. KMJ is a ME guy.
I don't understand how people don't see that. They've been screaming for him to get traded for a bottle of water and it makes no sense. The Rockets still have a good core of young players with KPJ, Green, Sengun, Bari, Tari, Amen and Cam. They need just one of these players to become a star this season and that changes everything.
