I'm not losing too much sleep over trading kjm who wanted out.

I'm just find it funny we have stone stans sucking him off like he created a team that's playoff ready with the amount of hype for his recent moves.

    He signed ime = +
Signed brooks to a sht bloated contract = -
Signed fvv to an okay contract = +/-
Drafted the best available pg in amen = doesn't really needs folks sucking him off
Got a steal in Whitmore via luck. = +?
Traded our first round players tyty, garuba, and jc for Jack sht = -
Got lead on by Lopez = -

It remains to b seen if this off season is considered a success and we already have the likes of rocketchamp organizing our celebration parade due to stone having "best offseason"

If we're talking "asset value" here, holding onto him would have only resulted in a depreciating asset, as Martin was unlikely to crack the rotation, let alone the starting lineup, next season. Had they held onto him, they maybe only would've gotten one second rounder for him by mid-season. If that.

I think we can remove the question mark from this one. That's a definite plus for Stone. I'm not a Stone apologist myself, but I think it's disingenuous to say (or imply) that drafting Whitmore was just a matter of having him magically fall into his lap at #20, considering that:

    1) It's pretty well documented that Stone tried hard to trade up in the draft so that he could guarantee we get Whitmore,
    2) 15 other GMs (even some very good ones) passed on Whitmore, while Stone was savvy enough not to drink whatever Kool-Aid all those other guys were drinking.

    I just have one question:

After adding a new playbook, all that a leader brings along with the strictness & accountability, who's gonna teach the worst shooting team in the NBA to shoot?

Silas may not have done them any favors, but they did miss an awful lot of open / wide open shots over the past two years.

Yeah, the addition of Brooks pretty much sealed his fate here. He wasn't playing over Brooks .... and I don't think he would have gotten many minutes with Eason, Tate & Whitmore on the roster.

Still feel like the return was underwhelming. He most certainly outplayed his draft position and will likely contribute to the Clippers
