    This just might be the first of several trips I make from Austin this season. Heck, if I still lived in Houston, I'd seriously consider selling the sedan and getting season tickets! This is going to be a great year, folks. Crushing the Fakers early in November is just the start of something good. I want to go to that game and howl like a lunatic.

    This is fine, but I'm very disappointed the first meeting with the Lakers isn't in LA. I wanted the Rockets to blow them out opening night in Staples.

    Maybe the NBA wants to make sure Kobe is ready when they first meet in LA.

    I'm completely fine with the first game being in Houston, I want the house going absolutely crazy while we stomp them. I think it'll be better for Howard to beat them in his new home first then we can go see them on Christmas. I wouldn't mind seeing OKC on Christmas either, though.

    I don't want to bring lin into this thread but its the exact Same sitauation as this years series against HOU vs NYC with the first game at the new teams home court
    Game 1: NY @ HOU 23/11 score 131-101
    Game 2: HOU @ NY 17/12 score 109-96
    Season series: 2-0

    No I didn't have to add the score or the season series, but it makes me feel good to see NY losing
