At first I thought that was a bowl of cereal but on closer inspection yeah nah that's ground beef I hope he at least put some seasoning and hot sauce in it!
This is what I eat 6 days a week (minus the toast, which I replace with a seed bread) and it got rid of problems I didn't know were problems. Like, you will never ever fart if you eat this. Your poop comes out PERFECT with no effort. I didn't catch a cold or flu in almost 3 years (used to be 2-3 times a year). You will never need a nap, not even after a big meal. Your hair/skin/nails will regenerate faster. Your memory will improve because of the good fats. I eat 20% more calories than my recommended amount and I still lose weight. I don't even understand how that happens, I track my food and and activity very closely. I thought I was a low metabolism guy before this, turns out this works really well for people from really cold or really hot regions. Our genetics are terrible at absorbing nutrients from carbs and exceptional at absorbing nutrients from fats. In extreme temperatures, fats are a big and necessary part of your diet. Essentially the formula is: carnivore diet + any low carb fruits and vegetables (max 30g carbs per day) + probiotics (something fermented) + good fats. That diet has the highest nutrient density of any alleged balanced diet. No supplements of any kind needed. Highly recommend it. No wonder dude's looking so lean.
So, why exactly can't Sengun do this? Could there be other factors like teammates? Going against benches rather than starters? Always surprised how well Green plays with Adams. His experience with Ja and Westbrook will be really valuable for Green and Amen.
Adams just happened to get healthier and started playing more when Jalen hit a hot streak is far and away the most likely thing here, imo. not that Adams screens can’t help, but Jalen goes from missing wide open 3s for a month to looking like T-Mac 13 in 33 for a month and I think it has little to do with much but his own head.
Steven Adams as a mentor to Alperen is invaluable. Alperen is a talented offensive rebounder in his own right, and the tricks he will learn from Adams in the screening game will go a long way in hiding some of his other weaknesses. Also so Alperen doesn’t get caught only being effective when he has the ball. Sometimes he just needs to set fat screens and be a dawg on the boards. Unbelievable trade.
Oh not at all bro, these stats were posted on that twitter account when both Green and Adams were struggling early. Both of them were performing better with each other than without. They're just doing it even better now. There's something to the connection.
I actually wondered the same thing but I looked it up and it's not true. I looked at Jalens numbers with Jalen/Sengun, and then with Jalen/Adams, and then with Jalen and neither (5 out), but ONLY included games in which Adams played, and the numbers all still look the same. Jalen does significantly better in the minutes with Adams on the court. What's really interesting is despite this, the best team minutes are still with Sengun on the court. I guess maybe it's not that surprising considering Sengun is much better than Adams. But the Sengun minutes still have the best team stats by a good amount. The team gets worse but Jalen gets better when Adams steps on the court. It would be nice if Sengun could learn how to do whatever Adams is doing, although I think a big part of it is just the size/strength of Adams, which isn't really teachable.
I don't think you can credit Jalen's good plays totally to Adams. But Adams' screening technique is something every big man should learn. The position and the timing, he knows exactly where and when to put his big body.
TIL he is the youngest of 18 kids via 5 mothers from a former Royal Navy sailor - that's Calvin Murphy level parenting.
I wouldn't say irrelevant. Maybe just a better fit next to Jalen. Better balance of defense and offense between Adams and Green.
I mean Adams might be the greatest screen-setter in NBA history If you could make the all-star team just for setting screens he would be in there every season Honestly, it kinda makes sense he's helping Jalen. Maybe we should stagger JG's and Alpi's minutes so that Green and Adams play together more often.
Oh for sure he's elite, I just never considered the best could be that far from the average for setting a screen even without range or vertical leap. Good for us.
I basically do this. I eat eggs and occasionally bacon. People assume animals eat carbs but because they have multichambered stomachs everything gets broken down to short chain fatty acids so their diets are mostly fat and protein with low carbs. This diet is the basis of ketosis. It plateaus but it is an excellent way to live as a lifestyle. Most gut issues are because of the poisonous carb-based diets and lack of probiotic. Probiotic will do wonders to help with GERD.
Yup, it's just people have literally been conditioned about carbs because of corn lobby and FMCG snacks. Like androids they will repeat the phrase "carbs for energy" lol. That's like saying 1kg of wood weighs more than 1kg of feathers. Kg's are kg's and calories are calories. Energy is measured in calories and all foods have calories thus all foods gives energy. The only difference is that: 100 calories of "Good Carbs" give you a fast rush of calories (1 to 4 hours) that turn into body fat faster than any other food. Nothing will happen to you if you stop eating carbs forever. It's a weird food group the has just as much in common with drugs as it does food. 100 calories of Good Fats give you very long term energy (4 to 8 hours) that rises and declines gently. They are the most nutrient dense foods. If you don't eat good fats, your organs will eventually fail and you'll die. 100 calories of Proteins are somewhere in between these two. If you don't eat proteins, you will eventually die. 99% of humans don't do anything that requires carbs. You don't need it to go for a routine workout. You need carbs if you're trying to compete and achieve a 2-hour energy spike which you know you'll burn. Basically, only athletes and hard labor need carefully timed carbs. What I do you can call it almost-keto and totally unprocessed. I don't do processed or minced proteins, I only do cuts of any protein and of course eggs are by far the most bioavailable protein. Nuts and seeds are an important snack for good fats and protein too. All the allowable carbs (30-50g) are almost 100% fruits and vegetables. The only fruits I eat are lemons, limes, berries, coconuts and avocados because, well, fruits are just vegetables with sugar so might as well just focus on the best vegetables with my meat and good fats and probiotics. Plus when you eat this way, fruits taste insanely sweet and it's more like dessert for a cheat day. When I eat a mango it tastes like mango sorbet, the brain is amazing like that.
